Jamaica's tourist industry began right here on Doctor's Cave Beach. An exclusive bathing club was built on the white sand and calm water in the late 1800s and by the 1920s celebrities from around the world were hooked. Doctor's is one of three public beaches right outside Montego Bay, locally called Mo'Bay, Jamaica's gateway city.
