An aristocratic air infuses the mansion known as Sam Lord's Castle. Now the centrepiece of an all-inclusive resort, the mansion was built by buccaneer Sam Lord. According to folklore, Lord plundered ships lured to their demise on treacherous reefs. The real attraction of this antique-furnished house, considered one of the finest on Barbados, is the mile-long white sand beach it overlooks.
