Birds rock
Rock Lighthouse Columbus was 400 years too early for Bird Rock Lighthouse when he sailed treacherous Crooked Island Passage, but he raved about the isle's fragrant flowers. Today birders find the Bahamas' less-developed Out Islands, such as Crooked, Acklins, Inagua, and the Abacos, perfect for sighting pink flamingos and endangered parrots.
