Week 7

|
The 'Hotel Zone' of Cancun is an island in the shape of a "7", joined to the mainland by two bridges to the north and south. The whole length of the island - roughly 15 kms - is taken up with hotels, restaurants and clubs. One side of the strip is the Laguna Nichupté and along the whole length of the other is the beach!
The turqouise waters are amazingly clear and if you're interested in snorkeling or scuba diving one of the world's largest barrier reefs lies off the coast.
The grains of sand on the beach makes for a very soft and comfortable day by the sea. There's often a good breeze along the coast and this helps to keep cool in the sun -watch out for burning though!
The resort has plenty for kids and adults to do and has an easy and cheap bus system to get you wherever you want to go. Although it doesn't represent the 'real' Mexico, if you are looking for a busy, family beach holiday then Cancun is ideal.
