Disabled Facilities:

There are five disabled toilets within the transit areas and four in other areas. Services are available to help passengers who need assistance boarding or disembarking aircraft and to help passengers with impaired vision. An ambulance service is also available. Passengers should contact their airline in advance for assistance; wheelchairs are available at the airport help desks, on request.

Conference and Business Facilities:

Business class passengers in Terminal 2B have access to the Cirrus Lounge (tel: (01) 296 5933), which is located on the transit area on the first floor. Facilities include photocopiers, computers, fax, credit card telephones and free Internet access. In both terminals, there are business centres and VIP lounges with hostess services in various languages, telephone, fax, computers with Internet access, photocopying and an interpreter service. There are two meeting rooms in Terminal 2B; one can accommodate six people, the other between 30-40 people. Free Internet is also available at the airport. Meeting rooms are also available at the nearby Hotel Stacio (tel: (02) 935 3053; www.hotelstacio.hu).

Information and Help Desks:

Help desks are situated on all levels in Terminals 2. The tourist information desks are located immediately after customs in both terminals.

Car Parks:

There are short-term car parks situated at both terminals. There is also a long-term car park with security surveillance. Parking information is available (tel: (01) 296 5505).

Driving Directions:

The airport is located on route E60 and is clearly signposted from Budapest. From the city centre, the dedicated Ferihegy High Speed Road facilitates access within 20 minutes.

Public Transport and taxis:

Rail: Regular trains, operated by Hungarian State Railways (www.mav.hu, Hungarian only) run between Terminal 1 and Budapest's western railway station (journey time - under 30 minutes). There is a bus link between the station and Terminal 2.
Bus: There is an Airport Minibus (tel: (01) 296 8555) service to any address in Budapest – the Airport Minibus desk in the Arrivals hall sells tickets and takes reservations. A pre-pay local express bus 200 runs between the underground metro terminus, Köbánya-Kispest, and the airport terminals; passengers may wish to alight at Deák tér where the three underground lines converge. Bus 93 runs to the same destination from Terminal 1 (www.bkv.hu)
Taxi: Taxis are available from the airport at the taxi stand (tel: (01) 365 5555; www.zonataxi.eu). Maximum fares from the airport are fixed and set by a zoning system.
