Driving Directions: From central Milan, take Via XXII Marzo and Viale Corsica; from the ringroad, take the Linate exit. The airport has good links to the northern Italian road network: Autostrada 8 leads to north Milan and Varese and Autostrada 4 leads to Milan and to Novara, west of Milan. The P41 leads over the Alps to Switzerland via Como, the Autostrada 1 leads southeast to Piacenza, and the Autostrada 7 leads south to Genoa. Most of these major routes are toll roads.
Car Parking: There are three car parks at the airport; the north and west car parks offer cheaper long-term parking and there is a multi-storey car park. Car washing, valet and small repairs services are available.
Public Transport: Road: Taxi: Taxis are available outside the Arrivals level. Bus: Bus no.73 runs daily and connects the airport with the Milan underground at San Babila Station on the red line, one stop from the city’s central Duomo Station, where it is possible to change to the yellow north-south line, and four stops from Loreto, which connects with the green line. There is a service to Milan central station. There is also a shuttle bus to Milan Malpensa Airport Terminal 1, on the other side of the city (journey time: approximately 75 minutes). Coach: There is an airport coach service which runs to the Air Terminal at Milan Central Station.
Information and Help Desks: Airport and tourist information desks (tel: (0)2 7485 2200) can be found on the ground floor of the terminal. There is also an information desk on the first floor check-in hall.
Airport Facilities: Money and communications: A bank and bureaux de change are located on both the ground and first floor of the terminal; there is a post office on the ground floor. Internet and videogames are available on the first floor, International Departures. Eating and drinking: There are bars and snack bars throughout the airport. There are self-service restaurants on the first and second floors. There is also a restaurant and a tea room on the second floor. Shopping: There are a wide range of shops throughout the airport; duty-free shops can be found in the International Departures areas. Luggage: Left-luggage and lost property offices (in both Domestic and International Arrivals) are located on the ground floor. Other facilities: These include first aid facilities, a pharmacy and a travel agency on the ground floor. A chapel and hairdresser can be found on the first floor.
Conference and Business Facilities: Business facilities, including Internet access, telephones, newspapers, magazines and video stations with updated stock exchange figures are available at Club SEA lounges. Lounge Piranesi is situated in the Domestic Departures check-in area (tel: (0)2 7485 3510); Lounge Piermarini is in the International Departures check-in area (tel: (0)2 7485 2263); and Lounge Bramante is a meeting lounge situated in International Arrivals, on the ground floor. Club SEA membership is required for the use of these lounges (tel: (0)2 7485 2841; fax: (0)2 7485 2432). Airlines also provide executive lounges in Domestic and International Departures. There is a business centre situated on the ground floor.
Disabled Facilities: Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available at the airport and there are lifts to all floors. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel. The Lounge
