The best welcome I have ever received at a hotel from Mr. Schneider. Genuinely welcoming not the artificial welcome one usually gets (if that). Went out of his way to make dinner recommendations with candid and accurate assessments of the various possibilities.
Classic Scandinavian designed hotel; mid-century,modern, and clean design.
Lobby looks like Aero Saarinen studio with egg-lounge chairs and hip vibe.
Brand new Pool, whirlpool, dry/wet sauna and state of art gym.
3 stops (7 min) from city center/main HB train station; and 2 stops (5 min) to airport.
Low weekend rates; and nice town-square/park behind hotel on Saturdays to buy fresh bread, cold cuts, cheese to go for hike/picnic in nearby mountains not far away.
Great choice to be a little outside crowds/congestion of city-center, and still have nice AM fog/mist in alpine surroundings.
Super friendly, pleasant and helpful staff, a wonderful breakfast and quiet location. Although the hotel is slightly out of town, the hotel is close to both the streetcar and train, which can get you where you need to go quickly and economically.

This hotel is great we had a lake view room with a balcony on the 5th floor. It was easy to get to by using Train S24 from Zurich HB main station to Ruschlikon. Although I would recommend you then take bus 165 for 3 stops (about 2-3 minutes) to get to the top of the hill the hotel sits on (we walked uphill once you can get there in about 10-15 minutes but will be out of breath most of the way unless you are ultra fit). The room was very well facilitated and the design was very modern. Sauna and Gym were free to use. Breakfast was nice but expensive at 28 Francs per person.
Stay was extremely comfortable with an excellent set of staff at the reception desk or at the restaurant. Housekeeping staff deserve a special mention for their efforts. Breakfast spread was matching the expectations. Chef Coomar prepared the best omelettes as per individual requirements. It was a completely rejuvenating stay. We hope to come back to this property whenever we are in Zurich.
Excellent staff offering helpful service. Excellent breakfast offering the usual hot and cold foods. The room was spacious although the bed might have been a bit small for two people (I was on my own). They will alter the firmness of the Airlux mattress if you ask (mine was fine). Get tram 7 from the station to the Stockerstrasse stop (about 10 mins). Trams are around the corner from the hotel and it's only a short stroll to the Lake past the Congress House. I defy anyone not to enjoy Zürich - it's a wonderful place where everything works!
The building itself is in an amorphous corner block, but inside is fine, and with so much to see and do in Zürich, the outside look is irrelevant.

A lovely hotel with fantastic views, staff very helpful and polite. The restaurant menu is not extensive but the quality of the food is top class with reasonable prices and a good selection of wines. The room was very comfortable and clean, the beds very comfortable. Not sure how the local AC unit will cope in hot summer days (No central Air Conditioning system). There is excellent and frequent travel connection to Zurich city centre comprising of a Cog-Wheel rail car that stops just outside the hotel entrance; this in turn connects you to trams Nos. 3, 8 and 15 all of which will take you to city centre. Enjoyed our stay in May 2014.
We were flying out at 7 am the next day so this was a perfect place to stay that would allow that crucial, extra sleep time before we needed to leave. The room is a little small, but it is what could be expected for the location. The staff was friendly. We didn't get to try to restaurant.
