“A Quality Stay in Zurich”

The hotel is overall very nice. The free internet is only in the lobby. The concierge is helpful and quick to respond to any concerns. The location of the hotel is a little disappointing, but Zurich is a small enough city that you can walk wherever you'd like. This hotel is recommended.

Getting there

If you take the train to Zurich HB (Main station), to transfer to the rail that takes you to the Sheraton, you need to LEAVE the station to street level, and find the tram that runs THROUGH the city streets (#13) which is headed toward a destination which begins with an "A", exit on Stockerstrasse.

Shopping

There's an American Apparel near the main station, probably the best fashion for the most reasonable price, especially with their newer high end stuff.

“value for money”

Not impressed, if you get a good rate, go ahead, otherwise get a better hotel, It is more a good three star hotel than a four star.

“Sharaton Zurigo- Colazione carissima fette di pane e caffè 20 franchi svizzeri”

L'Hotel non è male ma ci sono alcuni aspetti negativi. Abbiamo chiesto una twin beds ma il receptionist è stato inflessibile nonostante l'evidente disponibilità (l'albergo non era certo esaurito). La tariffa non includeva il breakfast (errore per un albergo europeo!) che era increbilmente cara: una continental costava 20 F.S. e consisteva di: fette di pane, marmellata e burro, un bicchierino di succo di frutta e caffè, come ci ha spiegato la cameriera. Se si voleva il resto (sempre a self-service) si andava quasi a raddoppiare la spesa.

“Ideal pour voyage d'affaires”

En voyage d'affaires, j'ai trouvé dans l'hôtel tout ce dont j'avais besoin (je n'ai peut-être pas tout testé) : connexion internet, prise française pour ordinateur (ouf! j'avais oublié mon adaptateur), réveil par la télévision... J'ai beaucoup apprécié de trouver un peignoir et des mules. La bouilloire électrique et les différents thés ont été d'agréables compagnons de soirées laborieuses. Enfin un hôtel qui propose au moins une chaîne de télévision en Français sur laquelle on peut regarder des informations et un station de radio diffusant de la musique classique ! Le seul petit bémol : il faisait un peu frais dans la salle de bain.
