“Too simple”

Well, very simple. Just for one night and special for business trips. The breakfast was ok. Without car difficult to reach.

“quiet hotel in easy reach of the city centre”

This hotel might seem slightly out of the city on a map but with tram and bus stops only 100m away and being on the major #7 route into the train station and shopping streets it is ideal for getting into the city for those meetings or for pleasure. The room I had was on the first floor and very spacious with minibar and pleanty of space for plugging in laptops and other electrical equipment that would need charging. The Breakfast was superb with both a continental and local Swiss products available with ample coffee and juices for those wanting to start the day. The staff I encountered from cleaners through to breakfast servers and all the reception staff were all curtious and all spoke good English if needed or you were not fluent in German.

Area recommendations
there was not a single part of the city I would not feel safe walking through in the daylight hours and provided you take good walking shoes it is ideal for those wanting to explore this wonderful city to it's fullest. The area surrounding the Bahnhoffstrasse is one of the major shopping hubs in the city but for wonderful sights then head towards the lake where it is wonderful and peaceful.
Getting there
getting into the city from the airport there is only one advised route the train. Cheap, runs every 10 mins or so and takes you right into the central rail station where you can get a taxi, tram or bus to anywhere you need to go in Zurich
Getting around
it can only be public transport and walking. If you buy a day ticket from the machines at the side of the stops or the tourist information office you can get on and off all busses trams and local train services during the day without the need to keep looking for change. Just beware a lot of Zurich has cobblestones and for those who are infirm or elderly they might find it hard along with the steep hills similar to San Francisco to get around.

“Ivan”

Nice small hotel, great breakfast, always smiling staff at dinning room during brakfast, very small lift. Good value for money in extremly expensive city.

Area recommendations
The hotel is very close to the city (trams #15 and 7). If you have too much money catch tram #7 and you will get to Bahnhoff street with very expensive shops. Catch tram #15 to Rudolf Brun brucke (bridge) which is the area of many restaurants (ask reception for details).

“Just right!”

Comfortable little hotel with a tram stop close by, very handy for city centre and airport. Convenient, would be very happy to go back.

“Good deal for Zurich”

A very nice small hotel, close to downtown but on a quiet street.

Traveller's tip
Quite reasonable for an expensive city. Three restaurants within walking distance of a few blocks.

“unkompliziert und entgegenkommend”

konnte schon ab 10 Uhr einchecken da früher angereist; konnte mir einen Steckdosenadapter auch für privat einen Tag lang ausleihen und das Gepäck nach dem Check-out bis zum Abend bei der Rezeption hinterlegen! Wer mit dem Auto anreist, hat einen gratis Parkplatz ansonsten öffentlich sehr gut erreichbar (gleich im Zentrum)

“朝食がおいしいホテル”

丘の上にあるので、かなりの健脚でないと歩いては行けないホテルです。しかし、 トラム7で駅から簡単に到着できます。他の部屋の足音が結構聞こえて来るので、 神経質な人はだめかもしれません。シャワー室の排水が異常に悪いです。 でも、部屋はきれいで、朝食もとてもおいしかったです。ホテルのスタッフも 親切でした。
