“Novotel Opfikon”

The bathroom doors cannot be locked. The sofa for the additional guest turned out to be a very uncomfortable camp bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. the restaurants could do with a greater variety of food.

“Convenience”

We spent our final night here before heading home from a 2 week tour of Switzerland and France. We found the tram ride to the airport the next morning to be quick and easy. After paying high prices for internet accessibility in other hotels during our trip, we were happy to have free high speed internet in the room. We also enjoyed a hot cup of tea in the room after dinner, which was not often the case in other hotels where we stayed. The room was clean and we were very pleased with our stay.

“Zurich Airport Novotel”

Great location, very convenient and close to the airport. More expensive than other Novotel hotels I stayed in.

“Convenient if you can figure it out on your own”

We had flown in from Berlin and were staying here only one night before flying out the next morning. The hotel was convenient but the staff was not very helpful as far as telling one how to get to the airport via the tram. They assumed if you didn't ask the correct question, you did not deserve the information needed. Checkin, while nice was slow and we were given a room right across from the elevator when other rooms were available. We had to ask to change rooms The room was okay. The television system extremely difficult to use and there were no directions. Breakfast was very expensive. The hotel was convenient and an okay choice if that is what you need and the price is right.

“Not impressed .... although I have been quite pleased with other Novotel locations!!”

see above ........ The front desk could/should have asked us to check the window or at the very least asked housekeeping to check on our room to see what the problem was. Novotel's management that night fell way short ..... and neglected our safety and comfort. I am SHOCKED that NO ONE came to our room that night! NO ONE!

this hotel has been newly renovated. it is pleasant, clean and very conveniently located, close to airport. has everything one needs, including parking.

“Convenient to airport”

Take the tram to the hotel. Takes about 7 minutes from airport and the stop is adjacent to the hotel. Tram goes right into the main city train station. Hotel is clean and hospitable.
