“Decent hotel, but unhappy with breakfast situation!”

Hotel was OK for price, however was unhappy with confusion surrounding breakfast. There was a card in the room inviting us to come down in the morning and enjoy a buffet breakfast. There was no mention of price and the card for breakfast to be delivered to your room did not include a price either. Assuming this meant breakfast was included, the next morning our family went down for the buffet breakfast. The man asked for our room number in German. Our German is poor, so we couldn't confirm if breakfast was free, but assumed it would be. However, at the end, we were given a bill and charged. So we were a bit disappointed because of the card in our room indicating we could come down for breakfast. Seemed like false advertising.

“Pleasantly Suprised”

Good breakfast, nice room with a seperate sitting area and a coffee machine with real coffee. Internet access was good and fast. Good location close to the tram. Parking was limited just off the street. Would stay there again

“Not bad at all...”

Hotel was good, clean and decent rooms. A little way from the centre of Zurich for all the sightseeing but the tram system is so good that once youve sussed that its easy. The area the hotel is in doesnt have a great deal, a couple of restaurants and supermarkets. Zurich is beautiful but incredibley expensive, a sandwich in the hotel cost £10 and £4 for half a lager!!! I would recommend this hotel as we got a good deal through expedia but it is just a place to sleep and not alot more.

“Great when air-conditioning finished.”

They were working on upgrading the hotel to be entirely airconditioned. The weather was nice so it wasn't too bad without it. It will be great when the air-conditioning is finished later this year.

“Nice hotel”

Mercure Stoller was a nice hotel for our family of 4. They had a decent rate and availability to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. Unfortunately, there was road construction going on during our stay, but our room was comfortable and clean.

“very disappointing!!!”

We were charged for services that we had been told were included in our rate. When we arrived, the person at the front desk confirmed that breakfast and parking were included. However, when we checked out we were charged for both. Had I know the truth, I would have found other options for breakfast (definitely not worth the price) and parking.

“Excellent Location”

If you're used to North American standards, then you'll be suprised by how small the rooms are. However the location is quite convenient: 10 minute ride from the main train station with tram #3: get out at tram stop "Albisriederplatz". Don't expect the greatest of smiles from the staff, but the service is up to par. Enjoy your trip!

“Excellent ! Will be happy to stay there again. Recommend!”

This is an excellent quiet hotel conveniently located in the center. You can go everywhere from there. The rooms are not large but comfortable, cozy and clean. I personally recommend it for both tourist and business purposes.

“Mercure”

Good location for Central Zurich .Tram station just a few steps away .The superior double room was too small for 2 adults and 2 children . Wall mounted TV( wrong place) resulted in knocks to the children's heads. There was no space to keep the luggage and move around in the room . Sofa bed was very uncomfortable .Very small wardrobe if you are staying for more than 2 days .
