“Nice place”

We found the hotel clean and comfortable. We were there in July and it was hot, even for July. The AC worked well and served as white noise to drown some of the street noise below. A very short walk to the tram and about 15 min. from main train station and great shopping areas. Several schools close by with lots of different types of students walking around. A great Italian restaurant on one corner and another great Spanish/Texmex place on another.

The rooms were small but very comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The restaurant was a bit pricey but so was everything in Zurich. It was also close to public transportation. A great find.

“Nice hotel in nice location”

We stayed here twice this year because of reasonable (for Switzerland) price. Hotel is just one block from the No. 4 Streetcar which goes past the train station which is about a 15 minute walk. Rooms have very large very new LCD TV with what seems like hundreds of stations in at least six languages. Our first stay was in a room facing a parking lot behind the building. It was noisy with cars coming and going and people talking plus loud parties at the adjacent apartment building. The second stay was on another side of the hotel which was very quiet. After eating one dinner in the hotel restaurant, we decided to save money and buy food in the COOP grocery store next to the train station. We ate dinner and breakfast in our room. The charge for the hotel breakfast was too high for us. We found plenty of good things to eat in the grocery store including hot Swiss sausage, pre-made salads, roasted chicken, wine, fruit, rolls, etc. Hotel staff spoke good English as was very helpful recommending places to shop. For our first stay we took a van from the airport. for the second stay, we took the number 4 Streetcar from the train station. Since the streetcar does not go past the hotel, one block away, one must concentrate on where to get off.

“Good hotel to stay at”

Clean, comfortable hotel. Convenient to tram network (day tickets can be bought at reception) which will get you into the centre in 6 minutes. We used the hotel restaurant on 1 evening & the food was good & not too expensive. Contrary to other reviews, we stayed on the first floor & didn't find the hotel overly noisy at night - just a small amount of traffic noise but nothing remarkable.

This Hotel was surprisingly nice for the price. The only thing that surprised me was they supplied no shampoo or lotions the way other hotels do.

The room is a good size and the bed is comfortable. The food at the hotels restuarant was also very good. We enjoyed our one nite and would recommend this hotel for short stays or weekends.

This hotel is very conveniently located. The room is very clean and very well equipped. The hotel clerk is very helpful and responded immeditely to our request. Our whole family love this hotel!

You have to pay hotel shuttle bus 30 ch return from airport while the other hotel is free.However,the room is clean and newly refurblished.A little bit far from town centre though.
