“Very noisy”

Got back to room around 10pm to find a group of men drinking outside the building opposite. They were extermely noisy and although they eventually moved on it sounded like some of them came back later. Noise from trams was also quite annoying and police sirens were even worse.

“Cow crazy but comfy”

Funny little hotel with an obsession with cows. Still it adds a little character to one of those low-cost hotels that are normally a bit tired and worn out. It's very convenient to the railway station but the last hundred metres or so you need to ascend a steep hill by two flights of stone steps. It is very hot in the summer and since it is quite noisy with the windows open you will probably be forced to sleep with the windows closed and no air conditioning. Breakfast was somewhat pricey at £10 for a bowl of cereal and a croissant, but I guess normal for Zurich. Apart from that I felt the price of the hotel was very acceptable for Zurich. I would suggest grabbing some snack foods from a corner shop for breakfast and putting them in the minibar - it will be cheaper and give you a better choice for the morning.

“Price Sanity in Heart of Zurich”

While the rooms and bath were small, they were the typical NYC size. The decor style definitely IKEA-esque. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is what is best about this hotel (along with price). On a hill over Zurich, it is an easy walk to the heart of Zurich. Also, its in the same neighborhood as a University which has a plaza that overlooks the city - a wonderful site at night at Christmas. Be sure to ask for non-smoking rooms, if you are a non-smoker. The only real negative to the hotel was its liberal smoking policy (which everyone in Zurich has). We walked into a wall of cigarette smoke when we arrived for check-in.

“Very nice hotel near Old Town Zurich”

The hotel is located near Old Town Zurich, and is just a short shuttle ride from the airport. The room was very clean and spacious, and it had a small balcony overlooking the street. If you stay here in the winter, be prepared to open a window because the hotel is kept quite warm. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler needing to stay near the central train station in Zurich.

“Good value for your money”

I am a young professional on a mini Eurotrip with two nights to spend in Zurich. After comparing prices and locations, Hotel Leoneck definitely stood out. I decided to book and very pleased that I did. The hotel was close to the train station, clean, well-lit, had comfortable beds and a very courteous staff. Although Zurich's prices in general are inflated, this hotel is worth staying at if you would like to save some money and don't mind if its not the Ritz or a Hilton on Fifth Avenue.

“Very happy with this hotel”

Very good location for those who come on the train. 5-10 min walk up the hill (or 1 stop if riding a tram), easy to find. From airport there is a tram ( about 30 min ride). Rooms are clean, functional. Staff is very helpful and give good advises. Will be back if ever return to Zurich
