Hotel Staff was helpful. Room was small for price and experienced lots of street noise. Light rail runs by hotel every 5 minutes making connections to the train station easy.

“Room and shower where way to small”

The customer service at the hotel was good, but nothing great. The single person room provided was extremely small, with the bed being a single. The mattress on the bed was hard, but after the first night you get used to it. The shower was extremely small, every time I turned I would hit the water control valve causing it to change the setting. I'm not overweight, but I am above average in height and body type. For my size this shower and room was too small. The breakfast served every morning, was what is to be expected for Europe. For any first time American traveler, will be in for a shock when you factor the price. I had diner one time at the restaurant, and was not disappointed. For the price when compared to other restaurants in the area, it is very fair.

“A bit noisy....”

Very nice hotel. My only complaint was that with the hardwood floors, noise travels a lot. My first night, the person above seemed to get up and rearrange his room every two hours. They moved me to another quieter room the second night.

“Nice little business hotel for the money”

The Krone Hotel was very nice. The rooms were a little small, but they were very neat, clean and organized in the Swiss way. The 11 and 14 tram stop is directly in front of the hotel, so it is literally (and exactly, in only the Swiss way) 5 minutes downtown. The hotel missed a wake up call for me, which was a bit problematic, but the staff were friendly, nice and very good at helping me get around the city and otherwise do what I needed to do. I would recommend it to any business traveller who does not want to spend a lot of money for a proper room. I definitely got value for my money.

“Cute hotel at the heart of Zurich”

Cosy hotel. Rooms are not big, but the space is very well used. Perhaps they could have more English programs on tv.

Easy to get to by tram from the main station, lovely staff, perfect rooms. I always stay at this hotel when I am in Zurich.

“Quiet but close”

I randomly picked this hotel and couldn't have been happier. The price was right and the location is great. It's just a few blocks from the river and less than 15 minute walk to the main train station. Quiet neighborhood which means there's not much in the way of bars or restaurants.

Hotel ließ in puncto Sauberkeit, Service und "optischer" Gesamteindruck nichts zu wünschen übrig - für den Standard guter Preis. Zentrum (altstadt etc.) zu Fuß erreichbar, wenn man 10 Minuten nichtbereits als Wanderung verbucht ...
