Good location outside zurich; closer to Kloten station where you can take S7 and reach Main station within 15 mins. The restaurants in the hotel are also good. And there is a Migros store and restaurant within 5 mins reach. Good if you are not looking for a beautiful view outside your window (you will only see Xerox office there). ;-)

This hotel offers an exceptional value for the money in pricey Zurich. Located in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood just minutes from the airport, it is a safe, family-friendly environment with small local shops and side walks for strolling or jogging. Included in the price - a free, efficient shuttle to the airport, a well-assorted breakfast buffet, and internet connection. One of the two restaurants on site serves great thin-crusted pizza so there is no need to leave the hotel after a long day. The hotel is within two blocks of the train station and a bus route both offering easy access to Zurich's city centre. Unlike some hotels with "attitude", the Fly-Away staff is welcoming and attentive to needs of guests. Don't think twice, just book it.

“Great option for Kloten”

The hotel is very close to Zurich airport (1.5 km) with a good shuttle service every 30 minutes. It is located in a small downtown with several restaurant options, including 2 in the hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable for the night before the flight. Free internet was a big plus after expensive charges at Hilton.

“A wonderful hotel in wonderful location”

The only reason I lowered comfort on the rating above was that it was so warm in the room and we couldn't get the air conditioning to cool it. Perhaps we did something wrong, but there were no directions in any language that would help interpret the numbers and it would turn off if we dialed any direction but the one we used. Therefore, we assume that the AC only allows the temperature to be about 80 or it was broken. However, the room and bath are immaculately clean and nice, the view fantastic from a landscaped balcony. We had assumed any hotel near the airport would be very busy and have a hustle bustle environment, but this one is set in a sweet little town with many restaurants within walking distance. The shuttle delivered us to and from the airport in minutes. Lovely.

“Excellent hotel near Zurich airport”

Hotel Fly Away is in an excellent location. It has a free airport shuttle to the Zurich airport, which is only about 10 minutes away and it is about two blocks from the Kloten train station, which has frequent service to central Zurich, which is about 15 minutes away on the train. The hotel is located on a quiet street surrounded by small shops and offices in an otherwise residential neighborhood. The hotel is very modern with spacious rooms and a restaurant and pizzeria which offers good meals at reasonable prices. My only complaint would be that either the rooms are not air conditioned or the AC was turned off for the season when I was there in mid-September. Although the neighborhood is generally quiet, the outside restaurant terrace and the proximity of the airport and train station make it impractical to leave the window open at night, so the AC is more important during the warm season. I would highly recommend this hotel and it is great value for ther money.

Not super fancy, but a great choice for an airport hotel. Smaller and a little more intimate than many airport hotels. Good pizza restaurant and good italian restaurant on the ground floor. Very close to airport. Free outdoor parking.

Close to the SBB transit system and near the airport this hotel was good is a lot of ways. I wish I would have known that they didnt have free internet. Its a good idea to carry your own power adaptor as they are in limitted supply.
