“First time visit”

I like this hotel very much, it is conveniently located near the Train Station, and the good thing about Zurich is that you can walk around with no problem. The hotel is in a very tranquil place, very confortable, the best bed I had in Switzerland (In this trip I stayed in 4 different hotels). I really enjoy this hotel a lot.

Area recommendations

Zurich is a city to walk around, just stay in the old Zurich around the main landmarks and visit the national museum.

“Good hotel with lovely staff”

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is warm and the staff are well trained and very welcoming. It is a quiet hotel and I would recommend some activity as it becomes boring at night. The bar was always empty. It is a short walk to shopping and dining areas. I liked the staff as they were really friendly and helpful. Nadja the receptionist and Wael the porter did a great job to make me feel welcome at the hotel. It's a very good small hotel and I honestly think the price was reasonable for an expensive city like Zurich. Ok it was less expensive for the last 2 nights I stayed. The first 2 nights were more expensive and I think that the reason may be that the hotel was full on the day I arrived. I would recommend this hotel. I had a quiet and relaxing stay. I usually don't like the Accor brand but this 1 was different than all the other Accor hotels I stayed in.

“Very nice location and service, cozy.”

Cozy, medium sized hotel. Located in a quiet neighbourhood,10 min nice walk along the river to all major attractions; Bahnhofstrasse, museums, Hauptbahnhof. The room appeared small but the cleaness and all the new and good quality accessories of the bathroom + the quality of the breakfast+ nice and levelheaded service of the employees in the restaurant and reception make it worth to stay. You will be happy and peacefull with your stay.

Highly recommend the indian rest Hİltl right in downtown, in one of the streets Running parallell to the Bahnhofstrasse. They have an amazingvegeterian buffet For dinner, worth! Don't bother for the famous " Lipp rest". - in polite service, expensive for no good worth. Jules Verne bar at its top has a bad service waitresses yell at you. Both the Grossmunster and Fraunmunst church towers have a much better view of the city .

“Comfortable Bed!”

We stayed at the Continental for 2 nights and loved it. Best sleep of my life! The location was perfect to get to the train station but also close to the Old Town area. I would recommend this place anytime.

Dining

Eating in Zurich is extremely expensive, so be prepared. 2 small sandwiches, french fries and 2 beers cost us $75 USD. WOW!

“Great Hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at every stage. Loved the apple juice in reception! Also the Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel was superb. Had two great meals there. Not cheap but worth the money.

“Great hotel in Zurich!”

Great hotel choice in Zurich! The room was very clean and quite large for European standards. Biggest bathroom of our entire trip, which was a nice change. Hotel staff was also very helpful.

“uninteresting outside of hotel but a very nice hotel on the inside. Would certainly stay again.”

We arrived quite deal early from the check in time but it wasn't a problem and went straight to our rooom which was a bonus. The staff are very pleasant and helpful including getting us away on time very early in the morning.,

“Zurich two day visit”

Hotel was good, people in Hotel were great, better with the Expedia price which we picked up when our preferred hotels would not negotiate a lower price. Breakfast not included lots of places within short walking distance to get your morning coffee.

Area recommendations

Walked the downtown areas and lake promenade daytime and evening. Never purchased anything found the place expensive.

“Good value for the money”

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was most helpful. The hotel is conveniently close to the main railroad station in a quiet neighborhood. The only downside was that there was no breakfast included with the room like most european hotels.

This is the nicest area just outside the old town but within easy access.
