“Great location, clean and friendly service”

My only criticism is that more outlets are needed to recharge phones, cameras, etc. and better lighting is needed in the bathroom or another mirror area.

“Good airport hotel”

Close to airport. Efficient shuttle to and from airport. Easy to downtown Zurich. Modern and clean. Definite 'yes' for moderately priced airport hotel.

“Great airport location!”

Very close to airport, great shuttle service, super comfortable bed, unlike typical Euro small beds... very modern, very affordable.

“Spacious for Switzerland”

I stayed here one night to catch a flight in the morning and quite enjoyed it. It was cheaper than staying in Zurich and it was easy for me to get to the airport (I had a rental car). They highlight was going to a Kloten hockey game that night so if you are in town and looking for something to do that might be worth checking out (tho it is expensive)

“Very good hotel, but the neighborhood very bad...”

The zone surrounding the hotel I think (obviously) is a "hot" zone. Lot of guys selling drugs and doing "nothing" in the street. You always have to be alert, because you don't feel secure.

“Clean and convenient”

This hotel is a model of Swiss efficiency. Don't expect a lot of character but it is clean and convenient.

“Allegra-Kloten”

The hotel sits on top of a train track which has trains running all night long. There is no A/C and the heat builds up in the room -- we were there in August -- so you lay awake sweating and listening to trains roll by. Very uncomfortable. If you could be street side and stay in the winter it would be better.

“Excellent choice for travel to or from Zurich”

Apart from the Allegra's free, convenient shuttle service to and from Zurich's airport it a two minute walk from the "S-Bahn" - commuter rail 15 minute train ride that operates every thirty minutes into the heart of Zurich. It thus provides a base for a stay in Zurich that is difficult to match at the same price in central Zurich as well as a location that cannot be beat for arrival or departure from Zurich's Kloten airport. The location is also quiet and the hotel is immaculate. My wife and i have stayed there many times.

Area recommendations
Central Zurich, museums, zoo all reachable on same fare as S-Bahn train into central Zurich.

“very good experience”

i stayed at the hotel with my family for 3 nights and it was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent, next to kloten station. Zurich is just 15 minutes away. The staff are helpfull and courteous. I had a three bed room and everything was very good.

“Very nice hotel for the price”

I stayed here at the beginning of a business trip. The hotel is clean and in very good condition, in a quiet neighborhood. My room was in the front of the hotel facing the street and I did not experience any street noise or other issues when staying the weekend. I took advantage of the free shuttle from the airport, which was convenient. The free Internet access was fast and stable. The hotel restaurant was expensive, but any restaurant in Switzerland, especially a hotel restaurant, is expensive. My only complaint was that breakfast was not included in the cost of the room. I did not try it so I cannot comment on the quality of the breakfast. The hotel is next to the Kloten stop of the S7 train from the main Zurich train station. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the center of Zurich and it stops every 30 minutes. If you don't mind timing your trips to/from the hotel around the train stops, it is a good inexpensive option compared to the price of other hotels inside Zurich.

Area recommendations
Go see the old part of Zurich and walk down near the lake. It's a beautiful city, especially at night.
