The hotel is clean and modern with an appealing design. The staff were all friendly and helpful.We were a party of 4 including 2 young children therefore we chose the hotel because it had a swimming pool. We used it frequently and although it is quite small it was never busy and much enjoyed by us all. We had a suite with 2 rooms - 2 televisions, a large bed, a pull out double couch bed and a dining table with 4 chairs. Our only criticism of the room would be that both the bed and the pull out bed were in the same area, with the table and chairs in a separate area. For us, it would have suited better if the beds had been in the separate areas with the table in the main area. The hotel never seemed busy except in the restaurant at breakfast when it became clear just how many people were staying! Restaurant staff clearly worked very hard to reset tables and restock quickly but we had to wait for a table each time. Transport into the centre is easy via the tram stop located very close to the hotel. We had no issues with noise from outside (nor inside) the hotel.
We were flying out at 7 am the next day so this was a perfect place to stay that would allow that crucial, extra sleep time before we needed to leave. The room is a little small, but it is what could be expected for the location. The staff was friendly. We didn't get to try to restaurant.
Larger than most of the rooms we've had in Zurich. Nice finishes. Pretty good bathroom. Breakfast was also better than average. Lake view also means street noise if the window is open. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Quaibruecke where Lake Zurich drains into the river.
