“Great Hotel. Good value for money for Zurich”

Clean and very well organized. No frills, but not a dive either. Great location. About a 5 minute walk across the river to the Bahnhoff and about 10 minutes to get to the old section of town. The breakfast is superb. Generous, delivered to your room and set up as well as removed. Good selection of english channels on the tv. They also have the option to rent a very wide selection of movies from the front desk with a refundable deposit. Unfortunately it is in VHS format! Parking was easy for us, since we were there over the weekend and the few spaces in front of the hotel were open. It is in a very quiet street and there are a few pizza parlors and an Italian and African restaurant nearby. Immediate need groceries (water, milk, sundries) can be purchased from the wide selection of merchants in the train station. Very secure facility with multiple door locks to get to the elevator and the hallways. The front desk only works limited hours into the evening, so make sure any requests or movie rentals are done before you go out for the night. Would definately stay again.

“My choice for every future stay in Zurich”

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is very modern, everything is electronic and woks perfect. The building is in excellent condition, everything looks like new, the rooms are huge, the breakfast is great and always in time. To the rail station is only a 15 minutes walk. The river view is an excellent extra for an affordable rate.

“A rare find - Good quality, affordable hotel in Zurich!”

The EMA Suite hotel is an all-suite hotel in a semi-residential area and within walking distance of central Zurich (or 5 min tram ride, stop in front of hotel). The common areas are modern and staff very friendly. The room itself was extremely large and fully furnished, but without much of a view. Although "all-suite" and relatively highly rated, I found the furniture to be somewhat basic. The only other thing thata detracted from a great experience is that the carpeting looked like something you would install in a door room, or a lower-end appartment. Although complimentaey internet is available (wired) and that I could pick-up a wifi signal, my smartphone could not really log-in into their service so I had to use the computer made available to guest on the main floor. The computer itself is free of charge but you need to get a voucher ($) for the internet. The best feature is the complementary breakfasrt, which is brought to your room and starts as early as 6:45am. At check-in, they will ask you what you want (juice, coffee,...) This is a avery generous continental breakfast (bread, cheese, yogourt, cereal, cold cuts, spreads). I ordered scrambled eggs (extra charge) - and realized I would have been fine with the standard offering. Bfast was delilvered on time, and as ordered. Overall, highly recommended

beautiful buliding; stylishly furnished; clean; conscientious and incredibly helpful staff; breakfast served in your room!; walking distance from the train station and city centre; but make sure you arrive before 9pm to check in

“Excellent "Serviced Apartment"”

Ema House now describes itself as "serviced apartments", which is an excellent description. The rooms really are of apartment size. An excellent breakfast is delivered to the room. The room is serviced and "made up" every day. There are no other hotel amenities, such as a restaurant, bar, or lobby. While not in or near the "old town", Ema House is right at the tram stop, which is two stops from the train station.

“Pleasant stay at the EMA House”

We were surprised with a room upgrade upon our arrival and had a suite on the top floor. The rooms were very clean and bright. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. It is not far from the train station, but it is up hill so if you are arriving with many bags taking the tram or a taxi would be best. The breakfast, included in the price of the room, was wonderful and generous. We would stay here again.

“Clean, accommodating and well-located”

The room was extremely large, clean, and comfortably appointed. Chocolates on the pillows every day! The breakfast was excellent, and a unique experience among Zurich hotels to be served in our room at the dining table. It was especially good for us as we were staying with our young daughter, and it provided us some good family time. On the down side, the air conditioning was a bit weak and the room was a bit stuffy. With an entire wall of windows, only one opened. Given the comfortable summer weather in Zurich, it would have been much better with a little fresh air. I will happily stay here again!

ideallocation (7 min alk from main station, major tram line in front of door); friendly staff, good breakfast in room on time, cheapest phone (international) ever saw in a hoterl. Big - living room and bed room. Absolutely nothing to complain about or improve uopon.
