“Great hotel, lovely people behind the desk, clean, comfortable and warm rooms and close to station”

Great place, good clean comfortable rooms and the heating was fantastic! Stayed 3 nights in dec 2012. Walked to and from station with luggage, only a few minutes. Lovely breakfast- coffee, tea, juice etc, cereals, fruit yoghurt breads eggs, everything you need. Overall highly recommend!

“Zurich is espensive”

Minimalist room, but beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was extremely limited. Good location. Hotel was pricey, but as we soon discovered, all of Zurich and Switzerland is extremely pricy. We had three, my husband, me and our daughter, and finding rooms for three is difficult, but the hotel room had adequate space.

“again , super experience,,”

THis was my third stay in this hotel, again super experience , i would recommend this hotel to everyone , perfect location ,, and now ,, FREE INTERNET,, close, walking distance to everything you would like to see, plenty of shops and restaurants, ,, can't find enough words to describe how pleasant it is to stay there, thanks to all the staff ,, lastly ,, supper breakfast buffet,, will be back soon,,,--KAZ.

“Nice, simple hotel in good location”

We stayed at the Bristol at the end of our Switzerland journey. It was clean, simple and convenient to getting to/from the train station. It was the least decorative and smallest of the places we stayed. There was not much going on right around the hotel (especially on a Sunday), so it was quiet. The service was nice. It was a fine, no-frills place to stay in Zurich.

Area recommendations

I would recommend the old town section of Zurich, Niederdorfstrasse . Lots going on, very quaint. Cute shops, nice cafes.

“Happy with this hotel”

The Bristol has an excellent location in walking distance to the train station, shopping & eating, and attractions. The neighborhood was quite. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff was friendly.

“Clean but sparse”

This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in throughout our 17 day Europe trip and was probably the least nicely furnished. The bed was very low to the ground -- basically on a short platform and the bedside tables were practically on the floor. There were no bedside lamps and very little else in the room. No air conditioning and our room faced the street so it was too noisy to leave the windows open. A floor fan was provided. On the plus side, the room was immaculate and very convenient to the train station and the restaurant/shopping area so we could walk to wherever we wanted to go.

“Great Zurich Hauptbahnhof Location”

Very clean and comfortabe rooms. Staff very accomodating. Breakfast was a nice bonus. You can't beat the location for easy access to the main train station. I'd go back again.
