Having wanted to stay at The Grand for some time I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the hotels facilities. The swimming pool was excellent and the balcony overlooking the lake was beautiful. I would definitely go back and cant wait to book my next trip!

“Absolutely magical place”

On a recent trip to Europe where we stayed in some pretty fabulous hotels, the Grand Hotel in Zell Am See was our favorite by far. Absolutely flawless stay enhanced by the friendly and helpful staff in both the reception area and dining room. Our room had been recently renovated and was a delight. Large and spacious, spectacular view of the lake and snow capped mountains. The breakfast buffet and dinner were amazing. Everything top notch cuisine. With the breakfast and half board (dinner) price included in my package, I felt the room was actually a bargain and we had an amazing room! I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a special experience in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Top class hotel.

We had areally great time in gorgeous surroundings looking out on the lake and the snowcapped mountains in the distance. n Another time I thin I would go earlier in the year when the ladies from the Middle East were still in their countires.

“Fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel Zell am See”

What a beautiful hotel. Every room is positioned with a view over the lake with the mountains rising above it. The rooms were large and comfortable and the catering excellent. The snow coniditons were spring-like and heavy at the time of our stay, but being in the hotel and enjoying its spa plus walks around the lake more than made up for that.

“Really Really Wonderful - We'll Be Back!!”

Wow, is the word to describe the Grand Hotel at Zell Am See. After the usual check-in routine we were brought to our room and completely blown away!! It was clean, spacious and had the most amazing view I have ever seen (we looked out over the frozen lake). My husband and I agreed that this was the first time we thought the hotel was BETTER then the web information. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant was top notch. The only glitch in our stay was that the internet in our room wasn't working and they were not able to get it working prior to our checking out. But we could go down to the lobby to use the WiFi. We are looking forward to coming back for a stay in the summer AND we'll be coming back next winter with reatives!!

“Superb hoteb but no air condition”

This is a very nice hotel, great location (directly at the waterfront) and the food is excellent. However there is no air condition neither in the rooms nor in the dining room. This means that during summer you have to open windows and the immediate proximity of the noisy train can be disturbing. However the staff is extremely friendly and the overall experience is excellent!

this is a good hotel specially for families and the location of the hotel is very good as its in the center of many thinks; like the market , resturants , the lake & etc...
