Decent place, five minute walk to the start of the old center, fifteen to twenty to the Cathedral and Alcazar.

Location was perfect for us. Short walk from train station, right on edge of university and a 15 min walk into old town. Not in a heavy tourist area. Rooms / hallways were a bit noisy, as was the children playing in the park late on a summer night. It’s a neighborhood feel. Missed having a lounge with cocktails to enjoy, but local bars in area can be found

Okay, near train and bus stations
Convenient as it was close to the train and bus stations. I booked this hotel without reading the details, thinking it would be the same as the one in Madrid where we stayed only a couple of days before. However, it appeared to be a budget version of the one in Madrid. There was no coffee making machine and provided toiletries was different. Even though the room was supposed to be bigger than the one in Madrid, we were unable to find space to open our suitcases (perhaps the bathroom was fiitted with a good size bathtub?). Enjoyed the bath but I had to clean the bath tub before using it. Otherwise the room and the bathroom were clean. Breakfast was okay.

AC hotel Zamora. No problems!
Friendly staff,clean room, unbelievably fast and free internet, first class location for bars and restaurants. Only downside is the underground car park which is a little tricky if you have a large car

Good central place to stay in town
Business trip to Zamora, gymnasium good, local area good, plenty of places for good and drink, only 5 minute walk from the station too,underground car park a little tight if you have a large car

Clean and modern, and priced right.
Zamora was a stopover between cities and the hotel offered a good price for 2 nights. It offered a very convenient location to both the bus and train stations. And it was within easy walking distance to the old town area we wanted to see. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Didn’t visit the restaurant as we like to dine locally. We would definitely stay here again.

Honestly wasn't that impressed with this hotel. Room was comfortable enough and clean, however hotel does not offer much more. The 'bar' was a room with a fridge and a couple of cans of beer and coke. Breakfast...no hot food at all. not even boiled eggs.

Good option if you're arriving by bus
The hotel is nice and modern, located in a relatively quite area, just a couple of minutes walk from the bus station. Walking to the city center takes 20 min. and to the cathedral 30 min.

The hotel was super. We adrive early and reception let us check in. The manager was awesome. The room was spacious for Europe and the breakfast was well worth the money with fresh. fruit, bread and fresh pastries, cereal, cheese and Spanish ham. It was a 10 minute walk to the old town and several good restaurants and shops. A Great choice for a stop for A rest on the way to GaliCia or northern Spain. .

Not bad, but not particularly great either
Call me finnicky, but I expect a few basics from a 4* hotel, like at least one TV station in English, comfortable bedsheets, a reasonably equipped gym and staff who speak a good level of English (it's a Marriott, for goodness sake!), and sadly the AC failed on these counts. And AC wasn't on in my room on arrival, so started off swelteringly hot. I also requested the turkish bath switched on for me in the morning and they forgot (or didn't understand the request). Otherwise, it's a decent enough place and the bathrooms are pretty swish.
