“Only the Location”

If this hotel was not situated where it is in Zagreb, I would rate it as only average and overpriced. The 4 star rating can not be correct for this hotel as the rooms were terribly small and the elevator was frightening. They should be thankful because their staff were very nice, it was clean but lacked any modern ameneties expected with a 4 star rated hotel. The Palace staff, the breakfast and the location definately make this hotel a place to stay but nothing else about it makes it memorable.

“Got more than what I expected”

I expected Palace hotel to be quite drab and "okay". It quite blew that assumption away; the staff were really friendly, they helped me with everything right from an electric appliance to tram tickets. The room was decently spaced and extremely clean - the house cleaning was excellent - they noticed even small things like where the footwear was placed and replaced things. The food was really good as well - the presentation was top-notch.Although, they can change their breakfast buffet menu often - it was the same all the days I stayed in. The location was brilliant with several things at walking distance from the entrance of the hotel. Recommended!

“Convenient and comfortable”

Very easy to access this hotel from bus/train station via excellent tram, which continues another stop to the main City Square. The breakfast spread was wide-ranging and excellent.

“If you're in Zagreb, stay here”

This hotel, from its location, to its decor, to its outstanding staff was amazing. If I ever find myself in Zagreb again, I will not hesitate to stay at the Palace Hotel. The front desk staff were beyond helpful; at then end of our stay, I couldn't wait until I could come back to visit!

“Great Hotel”

“Good Location”

The Hotel is not far from town and is on the tram line (#6) and easy enough to reach from the bus station. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are comfortable and clean. It is a easy 5 minute walk into the main square.

“Good location / mediocre room”

We stayed at this hotel at the end of May. The hotel is in a great location. Not far from the main square or the train station and a short tram ride from the bus station (and the tram stops right in front of the hotel). The outside of the hotel and the foyer are also very nice. However, our room was mediocre. Nothing great and nothing horrible. The shower door did seem to be broken but the staff never had time to fix it (the shower door only covered the back 2/3 of the shower/tub).
