“Yosemite Weekend”

Totally enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were meeting friends in Yosemite and nothing was available so gave Yosemite View a try. Fabulous! We had a river side room with a balcony, gas fireplace, kitchen and jacuzzi bath tub. Felt amazing after hiking all over Yosemite. Will definitely stay again. Thanks

“Great location - accommodating”

Accommodating and responsive staff. Rooms meet all your basic needs - and suites are very nice. Rooms have ability to cook and store food. Small store on site for basic needs. Great location to the entrance to Yosemite and close to the valley floor. Right along the highway, but if you get a river view room you are looking out on a beautiful view and hear the water rushing over the rocks. Lots of wild life - saw deer on property. Pool- jacuzzi

“Great stay except for the breakfast”

I was a little scared of what the place would be like after reading some of the negative reviews. But I decided to look at the big picture and go with the majority of ratings. When I got there, and saw the view right outside my balcony, I was in awe. I had a river view room, and the sight and sounds right outside were incredible. It is just like staying right in Yosemite, and the entrance to the park is literally a couple of minutes down the road. I will go back again and again. It is pricey, but I am sure every place this close to the park is. And this place has the incredible scenery to justify the price. The room itself was just fine as well.

“Good room and location.”

Location is great. The view is good, the room is spacious. There is a small market in the hotel that is very convenient.

“Great, Super, Wondeful Accommodations”

This was my first visit to Yosemite and first stay at the Yosemite View Lodge. My 45 year old son who was with me and usually never comments on anything, good or bad, said "this is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in." He said it so quietly and with such conviction that I had to laugh, but I highly agreed with him. I will certainly recommend this hotel to all my friends and relations. Your restaurant also rates 5 stars. Thanks for making my first visit to Yosemite so memorable.

great position by the river, with a great restaurant (as well as pizzeria, bar and other facilities, plus well stocked gift and food shop)

So glad we chose this hotel and paid for the river view, it was beautiful. There is a small kitchenette in the room which was nice and the rooms were very clean. There were several restaurants on site to choose from which were affordable. Took the full day tour with pick up at the hotel and enjoyed it very much. We were very glad to have chosen this hotel and loved the location and the views.

“good stay”

This was a great place, the room was in good clean condition. The staff was helpful and friendly as well. Stayed up here with a buddy and had a great time. It is very close to yosemite as well. 15 min drive, at the most. Quite, very quite, and a bit of a drive to the closest gas/food establishment, but it is a nice drive non the less. Will be staying here again sometime soon. i would highly recommend this place to friends and family
