Nice view! Good distance to Yosemite and there is a creek next to the hotel. A nice pizza shop always full of people. The facilities in the room is old and the tap on the wash basin was broken. Kitchen is useful and beds are ok.

Location fantastic, rooms better than average

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: River location, close to Yosemite National Park, Nice beds and baths, staff attentive.
Cons: TV old, A/C took considerable time to cool room.
Location: 5 minutes from West entrance to Yosemite National Park, 20 minutes from Valley Floor.
Arrived and were mistakenly given a room without jacuzzi tub. When we asked, we couldn't be moved that night, however, we were given an upgraded room for the rest of our stay. We had rooms facing the Merced River and the porches gave great ambiance. Double showers in each room and jacuzzi tub could squeeze two in. Pizza restaurant was good.

Great location for visiting Yosemite

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Perfect location for visiting Yosemite.
Cons: Furnishings are a little dated.
Location: Right on the boundary of Yosemite NP, very convenient to get to the Yosemite Valley.
Minutes from the Highway 140 entrance to Yosemite. An easy drive into the Yosemite Valley and other areas of the park. Very convenient for a park visit while avoiding the crowds of other lodging areas in the park. Rooms have a small kitchen that works for simple food preparation. Dining options are very limited in the area of the hotel, other than the restaurants at the hotel, the nearest options are in the park or in Mariposa, a 45 minute drive.

Location is the only positive!

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Many pools and seemed to be well maintained.
Cons: Inspect the rooms and upgrade with new furnishings.
Location: Only 2 miles to Yosemite.
Beautiful location and close to the gate to Yosemite. However, the staff was not friendly and not helpful. This was even true in the restaurant. Light bulbs were missing, one of the smoke detectors was missing, no remote control for the TV, and the door would not shut securely. Had to keep the chain lock on at all times. If it wasn't for the location, it is not worth the price.

Pros: The views and proximity to the Yosemite National Park.
Cons: The decor
Location: Visit Yosemite Nationa Park
On the whole the hotel was adequate for our needs. It was close to the entrance to Yosemite National Park and the river views were breathtaking. There were different options for eating, however it did need some modernisation.
