Yosemite Lodge at the Falls has 226 lodge rooms, 19 standard rooms and 4 family rooms, each offering daily maid service. The lodge rooms, somewhat larger than the standard rooms open to a patio or a balcony and have a private bathroom, dressing area, activity table, telephone and television with select programming. All rooms are equipped with wireless Internet access.

Located at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, the Mountain Room Restaurant boasts striking views of the 2,424 foot high Yosemite Falls. The menu is equally impressive, featuring sizzling steaks, fresh seafood and tasty pastas.
The Mountain Room Lounge offers a relaxing mountain-themed atmosphere perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. Sip a cocktail and savor light appetizers from classic old hickory furnishings. During the summer season, sit outside with libations on the patio, and in winter warm up beside our open,Swedish-style fireplace.

Yosemite special events include world-class cooking and wine seminars, a legendary Renaissance yuletide feast, Romance and Bed & Breakfast packages, a fantastic New Year’s Eve celebrations for all ages and more.
The Bracebridge Dinner at The Ahwahnee held in December, is an elegant and artistic four-hour pageant of classic carols, Renaissance rituals and entertainment of the Middle Ages.
Yosemite’s Chefs' Holidays at The Ahwahnee, held each year in January and February, feature some of the world's most innovative and acclaimed chefs. “Expensive but Fabulous Surroundings”
The rates are expensice for this hotel and the rooms are in need of renovating. Yosemite overall is a fantastic place and must be visited. The Lodge has a good canteen and restaurant but should be cheaper due to the age and condition.
“Go self-catering”
Yosemite Park is outstanding in its beauty. It is a shame that there are no mid-range hotels. Whilst Yosemite Lodge is very conveniently located, it is lacking in any of the usual hotel comforts (no laundry service or coffee-making facilities and very poor air-conditioning). I would rather have been in self-catering accomodation, or even camping as the atmosphere and facilities at the camp-sites are excellent.
