“A day in Oakhurst”

The Shilo Inn at Oakhurst is not what I anticipated and didn't meet my expectations. The room had a funny smell and so I left the window opened while I went sight-seeing. The receptionist wasn't very friendly when I checked in. Didn't get a Welcome or a Hello, etc. Would not recommend this hotel.

“Very friendly and warm environment!”

Great place to stay before you head to Yosemite National Park. Friendly clerks and breakfast was awesome!

“Good sized rooms”

The rooms are a little dated and in need of a remodel. However, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are a good size, and it is an overall good value. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable.

“Old but okay hotel”

Heater in our suite was not working very well, but the breakfast was good. They have ice, coffee, and hot water 24/7.

Area recommendations
30 minutes drive from Yosemite national park south gate.

“very good value”

Shilo Inn iSuites in Oakhurst, Ca is an excellent value. This is my second stay and will not be the last.

“Good experience”

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Property though old, is generally in good condition. Room is very spacious. Location is good with restaurants and other stores nearby with tourist information centre just across the street! Overall, it was a good experience staying in Shilo Inn Suites-Oakhurst.

“Good stop before Yosemite”

Overnight before a stay in Yosemite is a good choice at this hotel. It is still along drive bu this hotel works well.
