“Dirty Bed”
My only complaint, which is a pretty big complaint, is that the bed was dirty. I pulled back the top cover (noticeably dirty cover) to find something like 5 hairs on the sheets and one long hair on the pillow. I went to the front desk to ask for some clean sheets. I received a stack of clean sheets. I opened those sheets to find hair as well.
“What a change from a few years ago”
House keeping needed to do a better job in cleaning the rooms. The first room, the smell was bad. The second room had bugs caught in webs in the cornor and beer bottles in the garbage can, tissues under the bed edge. We have stayed there before and the rooms were nice. This time they placed us in the back and it like a different hotel back there. We did see 10 young deer early in the morning, that was amazing.
“Cheap option for Yosemite”
Nice motel located just 15 miles from the entrance of the Yosemite Park and conveniently located in the center of Oakhurst.
“Incomprehension price”
Ugly room, poor maintenance but expensive. Price should be less than half.
“tourism Yosemite”
Terrible hotel. Run down. Grungy. Staff doesn't care and almost rude (seems like absentee owners ). Wifi never worked over 4 days. Under NO circumstances would I ever stay here again.
“over priced, old, service people well meaning, ugly”
Run down, dowdy, old, property shabby, not a class Lodge and overpriced but the cheapest in the area for the high season
“WORST hotel ever!”
I am not one to complain, in fact, I think this is the first time I've ever reviewed anything. For the price I paid, this is easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at hundreds. Actually, this is the worst hotel I've seen at any price! The wi-fi DID NOT work at all and the room was dirty with stains on the floor and discolored and frayed towels. Light bulbs were out, coffee maker DID NOT work and shower pressure was the worst I've ever experienced. Their breakfast was also extremely POOR... the orange juice tasted like water and was almost clear, and the coffee was the same way... more like warm light brown water. The staff was OK, but when I related my disappointment they were unsympathetic... obviously they were used to people complaining about the property. If you decide to stay here don't complain about not being warned.
“Not Impressed”
was not impressed, it was ok, probably would not stay again..beds were comfortable, but the rooms need to be updated, and could have been a little cleaner...Staff was helpful..
“you get what you pay for”
The only great thing about this hotel is the location and proximity to fast food and other stores. Other than that, not all that great. Staff was okay. The room smelled old and did not provide much privacy. The vertical blinds had gaps and people from outside could see you. The alarm clock was dirty and sticky. The toilet had some stains that probably will never come off because it's so old. The shower flow is low. Sleeping on the bed felt like sleeping on the floor, not comfortable at all. The worst part, the pool is not monitored and doesn't close at a specific time. While there, people in the pool partied all night until about 3:00 AM. Staff did not control use of the pool and as a result, got little sleep. Next time will try Best Western or Chuckchansi casino just 15 minutes south of Oakhurst. The casino looks very nice. So, would never stay here again.
“Dirty Hotel”
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.Hotel staff did not care , when I told them about the problems with my room. Water in the bath tub ran all night, I told the front desk about it, they said " we know " Lots of street noise. The bed was very uncomfortable, considered sleeping in my car instead, of the room I paid for. The town of Oakhurst is very nice, when I come to Yosemite again, I will stay at a different hotel. Thre are some good Hotels in this town, but it is not this one.
