“Although the drive to Yosemite was a bit long, the comfort and amenities of the Inn were terrific!”
Nice location, great breakfast, and the hot tub was great after all day hiking!
“No bad except for their wifi”
large motel with a really bad wifi...
“Best location to Yosemite”
There is not much between Yosemite and the Miner's Inn which makes it's location ideal. Big rooms with a microwave. Nice gift shop, and a cute Western themed restaurant on the Property. Plus cable and wi fi.
“Very handy for Yosemite”
We were looking for somewhere to stay overnight whilst we were visiting Yosemite. We picked the Miners Inn of the website mainly because of its price and location and not caring too much about anything else as it was just going to be a one night stopover. As expected the price and location was fine but what did delight us was just how good this motel was. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, the rooms big, clean, comfortable and fully equipped. The breakfast arrangements did not look promising - just help yourself from the side - but that turned out fine as well. Overall we were very pleased we stayed there and would have no hesitation in doing so again.
“Good place to stay for the money”
For the money, I didn't expect much. The room had all the perks of refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The place was convenient and well lit. Very nice and normal staff. I did have problems with the old lumpy mattress, noisy climate control and low shower head: not all that big of a deal. I did feel that I got my money's worth and would try again if in the area.
“Served purpose for Yosemite adventure”
The Miners Inn is a small joint, but the rooms are nice enough, and some have balconies. The town is also small and sort back countryish, but that's what ought to be expected when traveling to National Parks, I'd imagine. The late night employee was good and was quick to get us situated. I would only have two complaints. One was the inconsistency of the WiFi, which had to be restarted for us as it was not working, and then went out again shortly thereafter. The second would be the smell of the room. There was a slight (very slight) odor of cigarette smoke, but because they make a big deal out of there no smoking policy, it was a little disconcerting. When we called the front desk, he made a note on our account and we weren't troubled with it again--however, we didn't feel as if our non-smoking room should smell of smoke in the first place
“Great Place to Stay near Yosemite”
Great place to stop coming or going to Yosemite from the Merced direction. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well appointed, with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Downtown Mariposa is a 1/2 mile away. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable. And reasonably priced. Free continental breakfast in the morning too.

“Miners Inn Is In”
We stayed at this motel because we couldn't afford the 'in park' accomadations in Yosemite. This is a big place and laid out in an odd way. But it works and we liked it. The breakfast room was larger than all other motels we stayed at on this vacation, was better organized, and had a better selection of food. Staff for the most part was on the ball. One `special feature they have at their restaurant are box lunches you can get to go. A nice size sandwich, (pickle, lettuce, tomato wrapped seperate, chips, apple, cookies and water). What a great idea when you going to a park.
“Greater hotel to yosemite”
We've been there for 3 nights. The location is on ghe gate to yosemite, the roomis clean and servie is ok.the only problem is the wifi could not work in the night.
