“does not worth the dough”
we chose this hotel, because it was too late to find other places to stay in or nearby Yosemite NP.
“Good option to stay south of Yosemite”
This is not a bad place to stay, particularly because it has breakfast included. There was only a small incident. There were only three bath towels in our room, so I called the front desk (I believe) and requested a fourth towel (by the way, we were 4). The person who picked up the phone asked me to go downstairs to get it, since he was by himself. I said "you are kidding, right?" to which he said he would take care of it, and soon after we got the towel. Not a major problem, but something they need to work on.
“It is what it is... 2 dim stars”
Old style ac unit blew right on me, it worked fine but I caught cold. We rearranged the furniture to deflect the blast of air and made the best of it. Hotel personal were polite and accommodating but we had someone above our unit with stone feet and confused with shower curtain use. Water cascaded down into our bathroom through the sprinkler head right above the commode. We assumed it was shower water but it could have been something else #$#%$^%&! We complained at the desk, they smiled but no change. We complained again and they did offer to move us, but it was very inconvenient for us at that point so we toughed it out by hanging a large cup to catch the drips until we left. The linen was so hard that it would have scratched the paint off my car so I hope a little dab will do ya...The location was good for us and we ate the continental grain, cereal, bread breakfast 5 of 7 days. The fruit was fresh but from 7-9am it was standing room only.
“This was Ok for the location.”
It didn't help to have paper thin walls waking up to someone taking a shower at 3-4 AM in one of the rooms above my room. Why anyone would take a shower at that hour of the morning is beyond me while on vacation. I can see taking a shower at that time if you were in a large city with a very early morning flight to catch. Then we heard the TV come on in a room next to us I presume at about 6 AM. Wished it had been better sound insulation between the rooms. Otherwise it was you typical chain motel for Comfort Inn.
“Not worth the price”
Scratchy towels, bad pillows, thins walls and curtains falling from their hooks and we still paid $150/night. If you are on a tight budget and are only staying a night or two its probably ok but if one of the other hotels in the area has a vacancy, go there.
“Breakfast”
I would have liked to see that water was available at breakfast.
“Great deal by Yosemite!”
Was a great hotel in a great location! Only down fall was that we didn't stay longer!
“Its perfect if u arrived late to Yosemite park, love town and breakfast!”
we stay just one night, but we recommended!
“Let down this time!”
We have stayed there before, just my wife and I. Proir experiences were good and we This time we took our adult daughter so we could go to the local Indian Casino. The room was not as we had previously experienced, seems more run down and for the price, I think we could have done better. Tha bathroom was much smaller than others right next door, windows seemed dirty although we were on the top floor. We'll give them another chance but at this point we will shop other local places for better deals.
“Dirty, out dated, not worth the $”
We were quite surprised at the bare minimum of everything in this hotel, from the towels (we only got 2), the weak coffee in the breakfast room, to the crappy maintenance inside and out. The blankets had holes in them and the pull out bed my teenaged son was going to use seemed to be large springs covered with a sheet; he ended up sleeping on the floor. The hotel seemed busy so they must be using the profit somewhere else!
