“When camping is better!”
Check in process - There should be a DO NOT check in at night time or when it is dark caution pre booking- There is no guide except a map given to you, the cars need to be parked in a lot that can be quite a distance away, and since you need to keep any fragrant stuff or eateries in a bear locker (we moved all our luggage out of the car just in case the bears smelt something and destroyed our rental car) you will have to haul your luggage through dirt, grit and stones into your tent in the darkness which can be quite a challenge. The beds need to be made after you check in and the tents are really dirty. Post check in: The tents are dirty - it was cleaner inside our tent when we camped earlier! There are cob webs on the roof and the floor looked much like the ground in the park itself. There is a small rack which barely fits anything. Our towel was torn in two places. My wifes bed was broken at the lower end. Facilities: Toilets were reasonaby clean though the ones nearer the lobby were much better, the showers stank due to lack of exhaust, The pool was closed for the "season" - which is rubbish and the wi fi didnt work though it was advertised as being free and available. The only thing that redeemed this all was free coffee available through the lobby. All in all camping would have been much better and much cheaper with a better overall experience. Too much bear phobia and not much to go with it.
