The room accommodated our family of five with a double bed and three single beds. The room was recently renovated and clean. The owner of the B & B was delightful and very helpful, including offering to do our laundry after having been travelling for a while. She was able to provide details about the area and suggestions to make our trip easier. The room included a full English breakfast, made to order as well as fresh baked bread every morning. There was ample on site parking and the B & B was easily accessible. As well, it was close to the city of York and to a park and ride lot. Would highly recommend this accommodation.
Clean, comfortable, excellent and friendly staff. Should I wish to visit York again I will stay in The Pavilion.
I stayed in room 27 for one night – Saturday 16th August.I enjoyed the stay; the room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly, polite and accommodating. The breakfast was just as I wished and of good quality.

Only 4 miles from the new Designer Outlet, and the Park and Ride, we found it very easy to get into the Town Centre.
The Black Bull is a very pleasant pub in a quiet residential street. The room was very well appointed and cleaned and freshly laundered every day of our 3 day stay. Having sampled the evening menu on the first evening, we didn't bother to try and find anywhere else, as the food was excellent, as were the cooked breakfasts (although it would be nice to have 'crispy' bacon.)
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

"English guesthouse a perfect budget stay in York."
I wanted a quiet, convenient base for my York exploration. I could walk back and forth to the town to visit churches, museums and ruins of the city walls. The walking path was the lovely St. George Park with a river running through the center. The atmosphere at the Moorgarth was very cosy and homelike. A breakfast each day included eggs and meat cooked to order as well as coffee, yogurt, milk and orange juice. In the category of moderately priced lodging, this bed and breakfast is a really good deal.
