Room size is small. Wired internet is free but you need to pay for wireless internet. I had access point, so I was able to convert the wired internet to wireless without any effort. But internet speed is very slow.
Close to Kawasaki station, Big Camera, Yodobashi camera shopping complex and various restaurants and fast foods such as Subway, Starbucks, Pronto, McDonald. You can get everything near the hotel.
Hotel is just few minutes walk from Kawasaki Station.
Shin-Yokohama Kokusai Hotel is just a couple blocks from the Shin-Yokohama Station and is generally convenient for local sightseeing as well. Rooms are small (as most non-luxury hotels in Japan tend to be) but comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay here in the future.
"Fantastic rooms. Great location. Wonderful staff."
The room we had was massive. We had lovely views of the fair and the Ferris Wheel through massive floor to ceiling windows. The staff were brilliant, could not fault them. Restaurant was very good and served wonderful food. The back exit of the hotel leads directly into the shopping mall. This means plenty of food options with coffee and breakfast on the doorstep. There is a convenience store nearby for late night snacks! There is a food court which includes KFC and McDonalds if you must! There are pizzas, Italian, Japanese, fast food. The subway station is in the middle of the mall. Central Station is the other side of the town. Bus tours go round the city in 2 line loops. 1 for harbour and 1 for Chinatown. Hard Rock cafe next to the hotel. In the room the bathroom is fantastic. The loos are super posh. Minibar in the room. Very clean hotel and rooms. Bed is very comfortable. The best hotel we stayed in whilst in Japan.

Better directions have to be provided for the travellers to reach the hotel.
If you take a taxi from Yokohama station it should be between 1500-2000 yen.
Another way is to take JR Keyhin-Tohoku like to Kannai station. Once you get off on Kannai station, preferrably to the right side of the platform if you are moving from Yokohama, cross the street and find the fancy gates to the pedestrian street called Isazakecho, move about 4 blocks along the street and to your left right between the suchi bar and a small clothing shop, just before a tall narrow metal arch with bells (it's lighted green at night) there will be the entrance to the hotel.
