“Feb 2011”
Tranquil stay, nice suite, great staff, lovely walk to marina.. Enjoyed the suite, the food and have to say the staff where very Helpful and friendly! Breakfast was well presented and high quality. The toiletries seemed to change every other day which was odd but overall If you want some quality time in a lovely location close to the main destinations Without being in them stay here...if you want beaches take a €5 cab to del Carmen and save the misery of staying there. You'll enjoy it....ps lots of moaning here about this place but ignore it and book it you will not be disappointed.
“A truly stunning hotel”
The hotel is spacious, gracious and elegant. There is a feeling of quiet sophistication and a clean whiteness in the outside spaces, dotted with beautiful shrubs and trees. Our suite was exquisitely positioned and luxuriously appointed. All the staff were helpful and polite and we felt utterly relaxed and indulged whilst there. It had a feel of the continental style that provides a cherished haven from fat football-shirt-wearing, beer-swilling Brits abroad. Breakfast consisted of a superb buffet choice of just about anything you cared to imagine. We didn't eat other meals in the hotel as we enjoyed the ambience and value for money of the nearby marina and its restaurants and bars/cafes. Compared to the other hotel in Puerto Calero and neighbouring resorts, we felt it was in a league of its own and were delighted with our choice.
“Beautiful hotel”
This is a beautiful hotel but be warned the layout of the floors are very confusing (reception is on level 6) it is also very sprawling so there can be a long walk to your room. However it is definitely worth it. The food is great, the staff are very helpful and friendly, it's spotlessly clean and very well appointed. 10/10
“Lanzarote”
An excellent hotel.
“Relaxation”
We wanted a purely relaxing, quiet break, and the holiday at Hesperia Lanzarote fulfilled that perfectly. (It might be less quiet during school holidays--children were not much in evidence during our stay.) The breakfast buffet was fabulous (although there weren't enough staff on some days), the sea views from our balcony refreshing, the spa expensive but worth it, & staff generally helpful and unobtrusive. I'd go back.
“Hesperia Lanzarote - you won't be disappointed”
First class hotel overall. Only a short drive from Arrecife airport and easy to find. Set in a amoungst a recent development of what appeared to be upper market housing. Hotel and room was very clean and tidy. The hotel could probably do with a touch of paint in one or two places, but would imagine as we went towards the end of the year these issues are probably done over the winter. Room was spacious and had a plesant view overlooking the pools and out to sea. The balcony was ideal to enjoy the early morning and late evening sun. Breakfast was a plentyful buffet of anything and everything, there really was something for everyones taste. We stayed B&B and there are a host of resturants of all kinds along side the harbour which is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel along the coast. We ate at the hotel on one evening, again this was a buffet style dinner with lots of choice and was to a Mexican theme. The hotel has several resturants so again there is choice. On many evenings they had entertainment (pianist/singer) in the Piano bar/lobby area which was enjoyable and relaxing. Leisure facilities we also of a good standard although we only used the pools we did have a look around to see what else there was. I can highly recommend this hotel for a first class service, really enjoyed our stay there and would deffinetly return there.
“Definitely will go back!”
We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2010 and had a lovely relaxing break. The hotel was just what we were after, really quiet and the room was very comfortable. Because it was out of season, there was only one restaurant open but we went out every night, either walked to the nearby marina - a lovely walk along the sea wall or went into the touristy Puerto del Carmen for dinner. The room was fantastic, beds really comfortable, quiet, lovely bathroom, great balcony. Minibar available but no tea or coffee making facilities. Breakfast FANTASTIC, everything you could wish for and more. Definately recommend it..
“very relaxing and comfortable”
we spent a lovely week relaxing in the sun. we didnt have a car but used excursions to see the island or walked to the local marina.breakfast and dinner were self service and dinner varied with different themes every night.
“Will return.”
A lovely hotel in a quieter part of the Island. Impressive but small marina a short walk away with a few restaurants/shops. Breakfasts fab and service generally excellent and unassuming. Seemed pretty spotless with lovely though unheated pools.
“relaxing hotel”
I wanted a relaxing quiet break and this is what I got. It is located in a very quiet area need a little harbour. The staff were helpful and friendly, the place was clean, the pianist and evening entertaining was very good. My only disappointment was that they didn't utilise their restaurants in the evening, so everyone went to the near harbour which(I recomment the Spanish and Indian). In the Hotel they had three restaurants but you need to book early in day for two of them which I think is a mistake and the one by the seafront was barely open. Really I would recommend they utilise this space and draw in the crowds with really good Spanish food and traditional music. I would go back here again.
