“Loved it!”

Great location, Great hotel at a great price :) Suited us perfectly (2 adults and a child) We had room 1009. We adults had our own seperate bedrooom and the 4 yr old slept on the sofa bed. View from the apartment was great, straight down to the drum tower. Short walk to the muslim quarter (fabbo street food!) Apartment had eveything we needed. Staff were helpful.

“Good hotel, perfect location”

We stayed in a studio for 3 nights at Citadines Central Xi’An at the end of October 2011. The studio was OK. The living room section is large enough, considering that we did not spend a lot of time there. It was useful to have a refrigerator, but we did not use the kitchen facilities (which are simple). The studio was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. Nothing fancy, but it was OK. There was wifi in the lobby, not working all the time, and 2 computers with Internet connection (reliable) for guests use. There is a laundromat in the hotel (a little expensive, but convenient). The breakfast room is not particularly appealing. Coffee was good. The hotel is the best location you could want. About a 4-minute walk to the Express bus to the airport. You can walk to the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower, to the Muslim district and to other places.We took the bus from the Train station to Xi’An Terra Cotta Warriors; it was cheap and convenient. And you get to travel with the locals, which is interesting. Do not miss the market in the muslim district. It’s fun during the day, but you need to see it at night to really get the feeling of being in another country (and almost in another era). Considering the price we paid, and the perfect location of the hotel, we would go back to Citadines Central and we would recommend it.

“Great location, very nice staff”

I stayed in Citadines Xi' An Central for 3 nights in October 2011. The hotel is centrally located and is in walking distance to Bell Tower and Muslem neighborhood. Muslem street and the Great Mosque are "Must-See" places in Xi' An and the food stands are great places to eat good food. There are free computers with internet in the lobby. They have very nice breakfast (both Chinese and Western) in a Singapourian restaurant adjacent to the hotel. I had read some negative comments about the breakfast from some of the travelers and so was skeptical. It was proven to not be true, though. The staff in Citadines are very friendly and go out of their way to help you with anything, to call a cab for you and show you how to get to places. They even let me check out 2.5 hours late. The bell boy guys are very nice and sweet. One of them even helped me packing my luggage when I was late for checking out and going to the airport. For going to Terracotta Warriors hotel arranged me a private driver named George who was an extremely nice guy. He spent the whole day taking me to 2 other places as well, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and BanPo museum. I definitely recommend him.

“Good choice, not the highest standard, but great location”

The carpet in the room has stains and the bed is hard (like all Chinese beds are). I stayed in a studio - the room does not feel welcoming at all ,but the price is great. Did not try the bfast. The front desk staff is not friendly, but again, the price is good. Location is great, just a quick walk to the Drum tower and Muslim quarter. The other good choice there is the Bell Tower Hotel, a Chinese option. Have stayed there as well, and it was ok too for a little higher price.

“Good value at a great location”

This hotel represents a good value in this popular tourist city. The location is central to popular attractions such as Bell Tower, Drum tower and the Muslim quarter. There are plenty of eateries and shopping near by. I like the fact that it's only 500m from the airport shuttle. The room was very clean and comfortable. Of course the bed was a little hard. But I had expected this because it's basically the same with most other hotels in China. English skills of the staff is a little lacking. But for basic communication, it's adequate. For some reason, the breakfast is included only for 1 person. But I only ate there once out of three days because it was pretty much horrible. You can get much better local food nearby. I would definitely stay here again when I go back to Xian to explore/hike Huashan Mountain next year.

“Great location!”

A great studio in a fantastic position! The studio has a good sized bathroom with bath over the shower, functional kitchenette, office desk with internet access & a semi combined bedroom & "lounge" area with a TV & DVD player that can be moved along the wall between the two areas. There is also a self-serve laundry which is perfect when you are travelling for an extended period, with limited clothing. I would definitely stay here next time we are in Xian.

It is a modern hotel with all the amenities of a Western hotel. It is conveniently located about 100 meters away from an airport bus drop off point, so you can just wheel your luggage up the street. There are many restaurants and stores within walking distance too. The room itself is a boutique style, though very roomy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchenette inside hotel was an added bonus. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers or business travellers a like.
