“Tower views, Xian”

A very nice, comfortable, affordable hotel right inside the city walls, overlooking the Xian Bell Tower. The hotel is within easy walking distance of both the bell and drum towers, The south gate (where you can climb the city walls and hire bicycles to cycle on the walls) the Muslim Quarter and the great mosque. The hotel was quiet, the staff very friendly and English speaking and tours / cars to sites such as the terracotta easily booked through concierge. We really enjoyed our stay in Xian and thought the hotel & location was one of the highlights of our trip. Book a deluxe room for lots of room and a view of the bell tower.

“Not Impressed”

The only thing we like this hotel is the location. Very convenience to go anywhere. Airport shuttle bus stops half block away. However, there were no service at this hotel. No one takes care of your luggage or call the taxi for you. One day I did not leave any tips in the room and the housekeeping did not replace the clean towels and the bottle waters to us. I need to go and get them myself.

“Excellent choice”

“A really excellent hotel in Xi an”

I would not hesitate to stay there again. The service was excellent. the staff was most accomodating. The location was great. I don't have a negative thing to say!

“Great hotel in a central location!”

The location was wonderful and I found the rooms to be very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and spoke decent English. The beds were pretty hard but that is typical in China. I really enjoyed my stay here.

“Xi'an's convenient little centrally located hotel”

Bell Tower was a decent hotel, affordable price and an excellent location. The breakfast buffet is a nice treat, while the hotel service and staff just pass the 'satisfactory' grade. The rooms are 'nothing great to write home about'.

“NIce location”

It is very nice Hotel. The location is excellent which is near to the bell tower, drum tower and great mosque.

“Great location but nothing more”

The hotel location is great, right at the center, the airport shuttle bus (which is the easiest and safest way to get from Xian airport to downtown) is right downstairs around the corner. The hotel is right at the center of downtown inside the walls, you can take the underpass to the muslim quarter, go visit the bell tower and so on. Location however is the only thing good about this hotel, the hotel itself feels old and tired, the room was not clean, the bed sheets and pillow shams should have been retired long time ago, they felt very rough and were very dirty with apparent stains on them. We called the hotel asking for another set telling them the sheets in the room are dirty. They did not care that much and simply send up the room another set of dirty sheets, though in a bit better condition than the first one. Bathroom - does not feel that clean either. The room floor - I would not dare walking barefoot on.

“Bell Tower Hotel in X'ian - where the modern and ancient X'ian meet”

Nice hotel with helpful people. Comfortable room with a spendid view on the Bell Tower. Very close to the Moslem Street, the modern shopping area and the Ancient Wall surrounding X'ian.
