Great Stay
We had a great stay at this hotel, which is close to the town centre and the hills. The rooms are lovely and clean with a large bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and we also had dinner in the hotel’s Mulberry Restaurant, which again was very good. I would also like to thank all the staff at the hotel who were also very helpful giving good service throughout.

Absolutely stunning cozy hotel at the heart of Malvern. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. The room was comfortable, well equipped, clean and quiet. Both toilets by the Reception and in the Restaurant were clean and smelling nice - you can tell if the property is well look after by those things. 10/10 for the food in the Mulberry Tree Restaurant! Great delicious and beautifully looking food. I had dinner in the evening and a lunch the next day - both exceeded my expectation. Lamb koftas were superb and full of flavour and parsnip and carrot soup was as silky and creamy as you can imagine. All of that topped up with great staff who went out of their way to make sure you are happy with the service. Best place to stay-definitely!

Idyllic Christmas getaway
Lovely hotel near the base of the Beacon, in the Malvern Hills. Stopped at The Mount Pleasant Hotel for our Christmas break (treat). Our room (room 3) had a wonderful view over the Priory. The staff were pleasent and helpful, we were very well looked after - even before our arrival - with thanks to their wonderful receptionist (I'm sorry, I forget your name). To the left side of the car park are the Rose Gardens, and start of the 99 Steps, the beginning of the climb up to St Ann's Well, and from there on to the Malvern Hills. The Mount Pleasant Hotel is an idyllic base for exploring both the Malvern Hills and the town of Malvern, we hope to return and visit again.

We arrived at 2 and departed by 5 in the same day . The hotel has had some works done in the restaurant and garden area which looks really nice and this maybe the reflection on some of the reviews. However when it comes to the standard of the rooms, this is very poor ! The room was very smelly, small, very cheap bed with poor mattress, décor was at a very low standard with chip paper on the ceiling. Was given a small fan that stopped working and advised that all rooms where full so would have to give the reception fan to us . Need a lot of work to be anywhere near the fake reviews the hotel has been given.

Really welcoming staff, comfortable bed and super clean room. Really good breakfast and perfect access straight onto the hills and all the walks. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly!

Short break
The hotel waa dated and average. We were given a very small room built as an extension above the main hotel. Whilst reasonably well equipped and clean, this was on a par to a small travel lodge room. We were hoping for a more luxurious stay and for what we paid, this was dissapointing. Bar and restaurant standard was OK, but the service was v slow.

Pleasant stay.
The hotel was clean enough. Staff very polite. Restaurant service was good. All quite acceptable. Disappointing only two bottles water left, as one off , remaining days you have to buy. A clause in the book says you can’t consume any food bought from out side. What ? Not even chocolates?

Like a sauna and no effort to avoid it
The only thing pleasant about our stay was the view. Whilst we did attend during the heatwave, there had been many heatwaves before us and plenty of notice, yet all they provided was a tiny fan. The room was like a sauna. Even with the two large fans we brought with us it made no difference. They should have prepared with air conditioning. Even the portable ones would have made it more comfortable but they hadn’t even tried. The bed was weirdly bouncy. If one of you moved, then it woke the other which cut the little chance of sleep we had. We told reception in the morning and all they had to say was that it was a heatwave, sorry, and they would advise the manager. As I said, there was plenty of time for them to prepare. They hadn’t even tried. And the manager hasn’t contacted us. Over £200 for no sleep. Thanks

Great hotel, great restaurant!
Hotel staff were great. Booked me a taxi a week in advance of my visit and checked twice the day before to make sure it was going to turn up at 0730 the next day. Restaurant team were great and the food exceptional. Shame I had to skip breakfast; heard good things from others who stayed there recently too.

Enjoyed our stay but needs a lounge.
The hotel was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Our only criticism was that when we arrived just after 2pm for a 3pm check-in (we had travelled some distance) we asked if we could leave the car in the car park whilst we had a walk before we returned to check-in. We were told we could not leave the car in the car park until we had checked in; we felt this was unreasonable considering it was within the hour and we were staying three nights. Eventually, the receptionist relented and let us register our car. No attempt was made to see if the room was ready anyway. Our only other criticism was that it would have been nice if there had been a lounge or at least a few sofas to relax on after eating our meal.

Fantastic!
Great Hotel in perfect location for local amenities. Restaurant is excellent & the service is first class. Food in restaurant is thoughtfully prepared & tastes delicious. Plenty of choice at breakfast & hot food cooked to perfection. The Hotel rooms maybe a little tired but ours (family room) was spacious, clean & airy. We had a fantastic view overlooking the church & hills beyond. Definitely stay again.

THE HOTEL IS IDEALEY SITUATED IN THE CENTRE OF MALVERN. STAFF ARE VERY POLITE AND SMART .THE FOOD IS OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD. THE ROOM WE STAYED IN WAS PLEASANT AND SPACIOUS.THE MENU CHOICE WAS EXCELLANT. THE PROPERTY WAS CLEAN AND TIDY. RECEPTION GAVE US A PERFECT WELCOME.

The room needed decorating The bed was so big the duvet didn't cover it! The heating was off from 22:30 to 07:00 - in the winter; especially with a rattling single glazed window, not great The temperature on the shower fluctuated, the towels were small, tatty and had seen much better days regarding covid standards, there is no consistency Breakfast was good and the waitress outstanding; generally if the customer service improved to average, that would be a step forward

Overall our stay was lovely. The room and ensuite were clean and tidy and the breakfasts were delicious. We ate in on our 2nd night which was a pudding club night - amazing! Just a couple of niggles - we declined having our room cleaned during our stay as we were only there 2 nights but did ask for our teabags to be replenished. After asking reception twice we were eventually just given 2 teabags (plus coffee and milk). Also, the room we were in was above the door from the carpark to reception and as a result meant we heard and felt every time someone entered or exited through it as the door slammed shut, which included extremely late (2am on our first night) and very early (6am on our second night). We mentioned this to reception and they said they would pass it on. So not a very relaxing stay - we both came home feeling very sleep deprived.
