This hotel is just worn down

Cons: it's 2014 time to redo your rooms completely, buy the latest wireless systems for larger hotel (fairly in expensive
Location: Make sales call outside of downtown Boston
Being that the main purpose of this hotel is a conference center they make the entrance look very nice and appealing to the guest. The rooms (King NS) are a throw back to the 1990 decor in every way possible including the linens and the mattresses. The bed pillows are smaller than I have every seen, more like a throw pillow for a coach. There Wi-Fi hasn't been updated in a few years their speeds we slow and I am sure they have "just enough" WAP's to barely cover the whole hotel. I went to eat at the bar I ordered on of their specials, about the same time as the guy next to me ordered the same thing, I went to the complimentary salad bar the lettuce looked a like old and the there were a about 5 topping you could add and the dressing came in plastic packets. After my neighbor was served his food (4 Innings -25 mins later) the one and only server (bar maid) said mine would me right out, turns out she never put my order in, I finished my club soda and told not to worry I was done. The gift shop to pick up a water for the night closed around 5:00 doesn't look like its associated with the hotel

We wanted a reasonable hotel for an unscheduled stop and couldn't have picked up a better hotel....everything is close by, the hotel is fantastic with friendly staff and great facilities.

Wonderful stay , Great location

Location: Good location..right off 495..longhorn steak house, ninety- nine restaurant, panera bread, five guys nearby.
Great breakfast..bacon, sausage, eggs, French toast & pancakes as well as typical continental breakfast items. Room very comfortable..high ceilings.,well designed and decorated bath. The staff couldn't be more accommodating or pleasant. I never noticed the pet friendly part of the hotel, ( it was advertised ) which is designated to specific floors. However, we saw a huge dog with owner on our floor. Perhaps he was visiting someone but I have a difficult time seeing dogs (not service dogs) and their owners in a hotel and I'm a pet owner.

Nice stay

Cons: Nothing that I can see.
Location: Some good stores close by to get extra needed items.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff very supportive. Good breakfast and sufficient parking. elevator service was good. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Basic hotel, helpful staff

Although generally rather dated in design the hotel was clean and the room had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, although different sheets and a duvet would be great. The air con is rather noisy but you quickly get used to it and at least it works! There is a pool which is great and other activities locally.

Nice Stay

Pros: Nice lobby.
Cons: Move the smoke detectors in the room. Noisy a/c!
Location: Good location to visit family.
Hotel lobby is beautiful. Comfortable room. They need to move the smoke alarm from overhead-the-bed. It was like a tiny spotlight ALL NIGHT overhead.

Large hotel with private compound

Pros: Comfortable room and good breakfast.
Cons: The hall way could be made more interesting and not too hot.
An excellent place for large group. unfortunately we only have a rather limited time (2 nights) mainly for sleeping.

Ok stay

Stayed for a hockey tournament for my sons. The rest of the team stayed as well. Staff found a room for the kids to play knee hockey together without disturbing others which was nice. Accommodations were clean, but run down. We requested a fridge and they brought one to us. Overall, an ok stay.

I was pretty disappointed with my stay at the Best Western. My room really wasn't thoroughly cleaned and everything about the hotel is very outdated. The decor reminded me of The Shining. My tub clogged on the first night and filled with disgusting brown water. The elevator inspection is way past due and it makes a frightening noise as it moves. I wouldn't recommend when there are so many other hotels in the area.
