I was concerned about checking in past my already late arrival and when I called was told everything would be ready for me when I finally got there...upon my arrival I was greeted by Andrew who was awesome not only did he make me feel comfortable he made sure something I left the desk got back to me and was waiting for me in the morning. I definitely will stay here when I return to Boston in a few months...
Enjoyed our stay here. Very helpful staff. Ate at a local pizza place a few blocks down (gluten-free pizza and a super chicken salad). The room is spacious with a kitchen. The Enterprise Rental Car is very close, so it all came together quite nicely.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. The room given to us was a handicap room on the first floor which was just around the corner from the bar/lounge area. It was not very ideal for have children 7 and 4 with us. The crowd at the bar was very loud for a long period of time. Noise level would have been fine if I did not have the kids with me but it did not help us get them to sleep so we had a bit of a hard day the next day. We had expected the sofa bed to be larger. It was barely big enough for a 7 year old to sleep on.
I was extremely happy about everything regarding our stay with the exception of a fee being deducted from my account entitled incidental fee. This has not been refunded to my account to date and was not explained to us during the stay. This should be explained up front to expect this deduction.
Recently travelled to Boston to see the Lion King, but chose to stay outside of City b/c of price. The staff at this Marriott are some of the best I have every encountered. From the intial shuttle from the station to the hotel, to a late check out and shuttle back to the bus station for us to catch our flight. They assisted with trolley tour sales, information about Boston and Salem, food recommendations, shuttle services within the local area, extra towels, etc. The breakfast offered something just a little different every morning (4 mornings) and the staff overseeing food preparation and distribution were friendly and extremely accommodating. I heard many folks in the dining area commenting on the exceptional service! When you meet housekeeping in the halls, they smile and greet you, when you enter and leave you are greeted with a smile...I could go on and on...but I think you get the picture.
What a lovely experience. The Hampton In Boston Woburn was far more than I expected. I am a very picky guest but other than the traffic noise I was pleasantly surprised. The Duty Manager, Ramesh, was extremely obliging asking if everything was to our liking and, in fact, nothing was too much trouble for him.
The breakfast fare was varied, extremely well cooked and again more than I expected.
Really recommend this Hotel to anyone who wishes to visit Boston.
