“Visit was great!”

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night after visiting Boston. The hotel was perfect! I am very picky about cleanliness and I was more than satisfied. Our room was ready when we got there and had a kitchenette. Cleaning staff even cleans up after your dishes! Staff was so friendly too! I would definitely stay here again!

“Recommendable”

I love the hotel and it was very clean. The only thing that I was disappointed with was one of thge dinners only a salad was served and my son does not like salads. There was really nothing else to eat.

“Pleasant, clean, conveniently located.”

The hotel is very easily accessed from I93, and near to Cambridge and Boston, but it's tucked into a quiet business park in a protected wetland setting, so it's not sitting right on the highway and seems much more secluded than it is. The rooms are big, well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was better than I expected. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely go back.

Area recommendations

While there are some standard chain restaurants within a mile or two of the hotel, the drive into Boston is perhaps 15-20 minutes, and so there are many great dining and entertainment options.

“Exactly what we wanted”

This Residence Inn is close to Rts 93 & 95, as well as the train station. Since our family is close by it is very convenient for us. We usually request a unit with a stove with oven, as opposed to a cooktop, as I'm usually baking for a holiday. Staff is cheerful and attentive; the breakfast crew is particularly attentive to their guests. Furnishings are comfortable, units are well-lit.

Area recommendations

This hotel is so centrally located you can zip north and explore the mill cities of Lawrence & Lowell, northeast to explore Newburyport, Salem, Gloucester and the entire North Shore, and south to Boston. Lots of opportuniteis to shop at nearby malls and town centers; great restaurants in every direction. Check out the Stone Zoo in Stoneham!

“Will always use this Hotel!”

This is a wonderful hotel. Very clean. Friendly service. THE MOST comfortable bed that had 5 pillows!! So cozy!! I wanted to take the bed home with me. Very comfy room with a livingroom area complete with couch that turns into an extra bed. It had a FULL kitchen area even with dishes and dish washer. Everything one would need. Breakfast buffet comes with room price and a few casual dinners. Food was very good. Coffee station all day made availlable. Cook out grill on their patio for your use. Pool ara kept clean with shower and plenty off towels. Exercise room with plenty of towels. Even a little MARKET ROOM offering snacks to purchase. It's a small hotel but comfy and cozy!

“Good Option for Boston Visitors”

If you're willing to drive 10-12 mi into Boston, or to Alewife Station and take the T in, this is a cost-saving option north. It's near a Target, so you can pick up groceries, water, etc. for the kitchenette. Across the street is a corporate office, Raytheon. Neither good nor bad - just keep in mind the setting is business park, not tourist area. The quality of the property was average for a Residence Inn. One of the two phones did not work, and one nightstand lamp CFL was out (and didn't get replaced during our visit). The breakfast and coffee was good. One night this nonsmoking property smelled horribly of cigarettes. Luckily that didn't continue, but it was quite disappointing. Bath OK, pullout sofa middling. Good price, though.

“My favorite hotel”

I love this hotel, the staff is so accomodating! If requested in advance you can get a unit that has a stove with an oven (as opposed to just a cooktop), which I use when I stay here at Thanksgiving & bake my pies. There is always a full breakfast buffet, parking isn't a issue, and it's just off Rt93 (one exit north of the intersection of 93 & 95), so convenient to almost anywhere. Plus, the train station is less than 1 mile away.

Area recommendations

There is shopping close by, plus you are minutes from downtown Boston. Recommend a day trip to Newburyport Mass, beautiful downtown shops and restaurants.

“Convenient hotel near Boston”

We found this hotel very convenient during our extended weekend visit to Boston. The suites are comfortable, there is a small pool and other amenities, though I didn't explore all of it. Very helpful staff ... who helped us with all the directions and local area tips. Oh yes ... decent breakfast. My kid just loved making those waffles!

If you have a car and want to get to Boston, drive to the Alewife train station (about 25 minutes from the hotel) and take the MBTA subway trains (T) to Boston. Alewife has ample daily parking and the connection to Boston is very frequent even on weekends. Wait for trains at the nearby station at Anderson can be a long - especially on weekends.
