“Liked that it wasn't too overcrowded-will stay here again.”

Room wasn't the cleanest - found a bottle cap behind bathroom door, stir stick laying on floor, a liitle bit of mold in bathroom. But the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved that there was plenty for our kids to do there, without being as pricey as the other nearby parks- also it wasn't so crowded that we couldn't find a place to sit or have to wait in line. All in all you get what you pay for and we would definitely go back.

“Great for families with young children...will go again next year!”

This was a perfect waterpark for my 3 and 8 year old boys. It's small enough to allow my older son to wander around the pools and yet close enough to regularly check on him. There were several small play areas suitable for the 3-year old. The water slides are big enough to keep my older son happy. And, there are no lines, waiting, or pushy teenagers I had read about at the larger resorts!!! We stayed from Sunday to Friday and it wasn't crowded at all. We didn't eat at the resort, but the front desk and cleaning staff were very pleasant and friendly. The hotel itself isn't particularly modern, but was clean and everything functioned as it should. My only complaint is the beds were not very comfortable. The resort is close to everything yet not in the middle of the prime activities, so it's quiet in the evening. We were able to park near the door closed to our room at various times throughout the day or evening without issue, so it was close and convenient. We had a great time and will definitely plan to go again next year.

“average hotel”

We were staying in this hotel 7/28-7/31/2011. This hotel is an average hotel to say the most. Needs a lot of renovations. Rooms were not very clean when we came and we had to call the front desk for an additional cleaning. Staff is nice and friendly. There are many different pools on-site, but most of them are for younger kids. I would recommend this hotel only for families with very young kids.

“Go somewhere else.”

The Polynesian in Wisconsin Dells was a sub-par experience. I opted for a "suite" because I wanted a nice big room for my wife and nine year old daughter. The hotel was very clean, which is important to me and the room was very big. But the room was just a huge regular hotel room. Two queen beds and a TV that was way too small for the room. Not even a flat panel TV. The beds were the worst I have ever been on. I was like laying on a piece of plywood with a sheet covering it. The water park was also nice and clean, but, The rules were a little nannyish. My daughter and I were on the lazy river and the guards insisted that we stay in our tubes. We have been to other resorts in the Dells, with much larger indoor water parks and we were able to swim in the lazy river with no tube. The hot tubs here are very nice, not too hot. There are only two slides for older kids in the indoor part. I would not go there again. For a little extra money the Great Wolf or the Kalahari are much better. You get a lot more for your money.

“Great place for families with young kids”

We stayed at the Polynesian in August 2010. Our 5 year old son loved all the pools and kiddie play areas. I found the indoor pool areas to be a little disappointing. I would recommend the Polynesian to any family with young kids for a summer stay.

“Wishing for more”

This hotel and water park is definitely geared to parents with younger children. There were only two water slides outside and one inside that were for teenagers and adults. I wish they had either advertised it for younger people or had more slides etc for the older group of kids.
