Great breakfast!

Posted 08-May-2015
Really enjoyed our stay. Surprised to find a blues band on on the sun afternoon, which we enjoyed. Room very comfortable in the lodge extension. Extensive breakfast buffet with full english well cooked and hot , or continental including cold meats, bread cakes fruit etc.All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Great value for the £48 paid. Would recommend and stay again if in the area.😀

A pleasant stay at Elme Hall Hotel

Posted 17-Mar-2015
Pros: We had a 40th anniversary party in a pub nearby so it's position was ideal. We would quite happily stay there again.
Cons: The temperature in the room was quite warm. One of the slats of the blinds was damaged slightly. Apart from that, everything was fine.
Location: We only stayed one night because of the party, so can't comment on things to do near by. Did not see much of the area.
We had only one night at the Lodge of the Hotel but it was pleasant. No real problems. Breakfast was very good, we had first choice as we were up early.

Vackert hotell utan personlighet

Posted 25-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com

Characterful hotel

Posted 19-Jan-2015
Had just one night here but our stay was very pleasant. Helpful polite staff. The room was only let down by the makeshift way the bathroom was built in the room, with a very low ceiling I could not stand up to take a shower as my head hit the roof. Evening meal was excellent, food superb. As was breakfast buffet style the next morning. Would recommend the Elme Hall Hotel to anyone.

Our family only stayed the night as we were going to a party nearby. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice and spacious. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Odd hotel, old fashioned, ghost town!

Posted 23-Dec-2014 on Hotels.com
Rude woman on check in - 'who's who then' not, good evening gentlemen, may I take your names please.... Also, had purposely paid a higher room rate for the benefit of refundable booking up until the day of arrival - this also meant no money was taken from my credit card and that my colleague from overseas could settle his own bill. However, for some reason the hotel charged both rooms to my credit card and the same woman wasn't interested in sorting this out, refunding etc so this means now internal cross billing and me having to carry the financial burden until expenses are paid at the end of January.

Good 3* hotel

Posted 26-Nov-2014 on Hotels.com
The main building has lots of character and the grounds are also nice. The family room we had was massive and it was clean, but the lighting wasn't amazing and the decor was a bit old fashioned. Breakfast was great though and the staff made our kids a packed lunch which was a really nice touch
