Ok for 1 night

Posted 07-Sep-2014
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Needs a bit of tlc
Was attending a wedding reception at this hotel so decided to stay the night. Reception was a bit strange, not what I expected from the grand outside entrance. Room needed a bit of tlc, lots of cracks in the walls, shower door handle frill off, more water came out of the shower hose than the shower head! Drinks in hotel not a bad price and breakfast next morning was good.

Only stayed for one night but was very comfortable and staff are very helpful and friendly. Woke up late for breakfast to which we called reception and they were more than happy to serve us a late breakfast. Would definately go back.

Friendly.helpful staff

Posted 02-Aug-2014
Pros: The size and comfort of the rooms.
Cons: Would like a walk-in shower rather than a bath. Much easier for elderly.
Location: Location was perfect for visiting Sandringham.
Handy location. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms very large, clean and comfortable. Would visit again.

Convenient hotel for Wisbech

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: Efficient friendly staff. Value for money.
Location: Located outside but close to Wisbech.
The hotel is situated on the main road outside Wisbech. The hotel is functional and smartly presented. The room was large, clean and comfortable in a slightly classically furnished way. The room was quite warm due to warm weather at the time and with no air conditioning the window had to be open which allowed in traffic noise from the main road close by. Dinner was good quality and serving staff were friendly. Overall a decent functional hotel at reasonable rates.

Basillllllllll!!!!!!!!

Elme Hall is the Faulty Towers of Norfolk! Rooms were basic to say the least and very rough round the edges, like naff university halls of residence. Staff were pleasant enough but rather like Manuel, their grasp of English was sometimes lacking. I went their out of necessity for work but wouldn't return for pleasure!

Did not live upto the reviews I had read.

The hotel was situated in a good location for me as I was travelling in the Cambridge area for a couple of days. The staff were pleasant and helpful though seemed to rush the dinner service. The food was not as good in my opinion, but it could have just been an off day for the chef. Breakfast provided a very good selection and plenty of it if you like a big breakfast to start your day. The room was Ok for what I had paid, but thankfully this was not the full advertised price.
