“Lovely View!”
A modern 70s/80s building, BUT fantastic view from the front of the hotel over green rolling hills, AND an excellent restaurant "Tenne" connected to, but not run by, the hotel. This was my second visit - very friendly and helpful staff - will be going back again.
“Very good Hotel, English spoken even though off the beaten track”
This Hotel was very comfortable, English was spoken by most of the staff. It is situated about 4 miles from the main motorway that goes down to Austria. Just one thing to watch out for is the invitation by the front desk to make use of the indoor pool. We took him up on the offer and borrowed bath robes to use at the pool. We had our swimming gear with us, but found that the German guests did not bother with such niceties. My wife had a bit of a shock and it was a case of "Don't look Ethel".
“Fantastic views - quiet”
We wanted a quiet hotel and that is what we got. The views were incredible. The breakfast was amazing. It is an older hotel, but that is part of the charm.

Der allgemeine Zustand des Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer sind sehr gross und schön aber : die Zimmer sind so hellhörig dass alle Geräusche von den Zimmern ringsrum und vom Gang wahrgenommen werden, das Hotelpersonal ist äusserst unfreundlich, getoppt wird das nur noch durch das unfreundliche Personal des dazu gehörigen Restaurants. Gut es ist nur 3 Sterne sup. hat aber den Preis eines 4Sterne und den Service eines Gasthaus.( wobei es hier wahrscheinlich freundlicher zugeht )

Frankfurt airport has two passenger railway facilities: The Regional Train Station and the Fernbahnof long-distance train station. Aschaffenburg Bahnhof is 8 kilometres from the hotel. Taxis are readily available outside both terminals. Typical fare from the airport is 50€.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A3 motorway in the direction of Wurzburg. Follow the signs to Wurzburg and leave the motorway at the Hosbach exit. Turn right towards Hosbach-Bahnhof. Continue straight on through the village and turn right in the direction of Winzenhol. After 100 metres turn right onto the hotel access road.
The best way around the region is by car, bike or on foot. The hotel provides bikes and Nordic walking sticks free of charge.
