“Our stay was very satifactory would definitely come back”

This Travel Lodge was older but well kept Clean and comfortable. Maid service was excellant we left for breakfast room was clean and ready when we came back. Restraurant was clean meal was good service was great.

Area recommendations
Legislative building beautiful architecture is awesome shopping malls easy to find visit Niverville quaint town Garmin works great at finding all locations in Winnipeg
Getting around
use of a garmin or GPS works wonders at finding places and getting around without getting lost or finding areas of interest. Traffic flow is awesome, Toronto could take some tips from Winnipeg for traffic flow.

“Not new by any means but worth the stay.”

I love the location of this place. Close to St. Vital mall and the mall on Regent. It is quiet and offers a comfortable night's rest. I have been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed with the service. In house bowling alley (worth a look to see the decor)....not too many hotels can boast that.

Check out St. Vital centre and the Crossroads mall on Regent.

“Room Smelled like a Pet Store.”

Wasnt what I expected. the room smelled like there was dog before I got there. When you lay down on the beds, in sink right in. Booked it for the Pool as well, When I got there the Pool was drained out for repairs, didnt even get to use it at all.

“excellent value for the money”

I chose this motel because of positive comments other reviewers had posted ,and suggestions of a relative who lives in that city. We were very pleased with the varied menu and reasonable prices at the on-site restauant. Nearby, there's a Safeway grocery store a short five minute walk away, that shares its parking lot with a 24hr. Salisbury House restaurant, which we found very handy for late night snacks. The motel's location provides easy access to a network of four lane streets and avenues leading to all parts of the city. One small problem we observed was bed sheets with permanent stains of some sort. Those should have downgraded for use other than on beds. We look forward to being repeat customers nevertheless.

“WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.”

GREAT PLACE TO STAY. POOL AREA WAS NICE. RESTAURANT HAD GREAT FOOD AND WAS AFFORDABLE. STAFF WAS OVER THE TOP ON ACCOMODATING US. BEER STORE WAS RIGHT NEXT DOOR. ROOM WAS CLEAN.

“Satisfied”

Travelodge, Winnipeg East was as good as or better than advertised. It's not in downtown but easily accessible to the city. The room was clean, comfortable and well serviced.The breakfast at the restaurant was excellent and good value. Would recommend to anyone.

Area recommendations
The Forks, because of the market, shops, restaurants, entertainment and ambience, with the red river in the background and the walk along the river. The environment is also green.

“Would Stay Here Again”

If I were to go back I would stay at this hotel again. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the room was a decent size. We were able to check in early with no problem. The room service was decently priced and the food was good and fast. The location of this hotel is walking distance to a Safeway, Superstore, Bank, a few Fast Food places, and Liqour Store. I felt it was a very safe neighborhood. The St. Vital mall was maybe 5min by taxi.
