“I'll stay there again”

“Nice upgrade”

I stayed at this location several years ago, before it was called Sandman, and I was not impressed. I was happily surprised with the change in the hotel. Starting at check-in right through to the check out. The only negitave I have for the stay is the Denny's experience. The food was alright, however, the service was horrible. We tried it both mornings and the service was slow, both times we did not get what we ordered, we had to ask for cutlery both mornings - just not a good experience.

Shopping

Polo Park mall, Blue Bomber stadium and Cabela's is only 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Dining

Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Earls, are only 10 minutes away from the hotel. In addtion to these dining options, the hotel restarant, "Chops" was also very good.

“great hotel”

the hotel is very new and not expensive compared to what you get. denny's was great too. the service was very good.

went to see polar bears in churchill manitoba- fabulous expereince- mostly recommended for eco tourism travel.

“Good but with some problems”

I had to overnight in Winnipeg awaiting a flight. The front desk people when checking in were very helpful and polite. Nice even. The only real problem was the internet. To put it plain and simple it was just plain lousy. Tried the hard wire and it was no better. Spent more time waiting and rebooting then actually using it. The room was nice,clean,bed comfy now if they could just get it so the wireless/wired actually worked in the rooms.

“Nice Place”

Close to the airport and 2 restaurants on site (Chop is fabulous!) make this a great choice if you're flying in or out of the area.

“Very nice hotel”

Very nice and safe hotel. The only drawback - did not have a little fridge in the room.

“Close to Winnipeg airport”

We arrived very late into Winnipeg so decided to stay near the airport. There is an airport shuttle but it was not running when we were going to the aiport so we took a cab. The cab was paid for by the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel (midnight), we could not find any staff for several minutes to check us in. The room was quiet, comfortable beds and just fine for our purpose. I don't think we would stay here again.

“Chop Steakhouse and Dennys in the hotel”

Airport location so no night life except that in the hotel or by car or taxi Bizarre rules on orderng a bottle of wine to the room had to go to the restaurant, they had to open it and give it to me in a bag and I had to pay for it and take it to my room myself
