“Left wanting in Winnipeg”

I've been straying at Holiday Inn's lately on business trips because they offer good value for my expence dollar, a clean room, upgraded beds and linens. I don't care about pools and water slides etc. I travel by myself for business and all I want are the basics a room clean and comfortable. This hotel missed the mark by a bit, it was clean but worn around the edges, It's location was okay but the room was a bit small and the rate was more than I normally pay for newer and nicer hotels. Would I stay there again only if the rate was more competitive.

Close to ther airport so you can make a quick get-a-way.

“OK Hotel”

They are undergoing maintenance, so the pool and hot tub are not available, When I was there, the pay per view did not work either nor did the hair dryer in my room. I was a little disappointed as I was expecting a pool etc. The dryer was fixed the same day I told them about it, but the pay per view was out of service for my stay which was four days. The rooms are nice though, and clean and the staff is nice. This was the end of September 2011.

“I'd go back in a second!”

This was my first all-inclusive vacation, and I loved every second of it. The resort is beautiful, beaches are beautiful and well-kept. The best part is the staff, they are so friendly and all of them can speak english pretty well. There is always someplace to eat, no matter if it is 3am, or whenever. Food was great. Rooms were slightly outdated, but not too bad. We didn't spend much time there anyways. There were always sun-huts available, sometimes you had to walk down the beach to the other Iberostar resort, which was basically empty. Highly recommend this resort. The Orienteal and Mexican A La Cartes were delicious.

Area recommendations

I would not recommend any of the tours, the resort had everything you need for a good vacation. Although it was nice seeing the countryside and living situation in Punta Cana.

“Best hotel if u have kids”

We loved the hotel! It was nice to have the childrens activity room, as it can sometimes be stressful when you are travelling with kids who find themselves "bored" We will definatley stay there again! C Bertholet
