Clean and fairly quiet on an Easter Weekend. Room was very clean. Only complaint was that one of the lightbulbs was out.

Quick stop! Good for a night
Good for a quick place to stay. East check in and out. Bed was a little too soft. Decent cheaper stay. Good for a night.

It was very brightly lit outside, so bright out curtains couldn’t keep all the light out. Also there were people hanging out on and talking fairly loudly on the balcony at 10.30-11 at night

Spiders on the walls. Dead mosquitos smashed on the walls. Floor so dirty i thru out a pair of white socks. Coffee was never made. Had to yell every day for someone to come to front office. Towels stained. Lots of people living there. Will never be back.

Family owned, good service.
Friendly family owners who helped me when I could not start the TV. Unfortunately, there was a water pipe break in one of the rooms early in the morning and we did not have water. But amazingly, the owners were able to get the water back on within 20 minutes. The only problem was the mosquitoes which is out of their control.

Great for overnight stays and close the ocean.
This hotel had the basics, it was clean and the staff were friendly. Located right off the highway. Location was very close to beaches. Crystal beach and Galveston were close and could be accessed by ferry.

Where do I start, I made a reservation online and PAID for my room. Upon arrival i was checked in & given a room with one bed. We are a family of 4.. so I went back to get it fixed. Was given another room & when i opened the door, the room was ALREADY occupied! Went back to the office AGAIN was given the key to ANOTHER room and when i walked over there, there was a shirtless man smoking in the open door way,,, clear it was HIS ROOM. Absolutely discussed with this situation. Then they REDUSED to redund me for a room I PAID for that they gave to someone else. Disputing with my bank now. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

Generally clean and safe location. Lots of workers in trucks, waking early and making noise but otherwise not an issue. Nothing fancy but a clean, basic stay if you're in Winnie.

Check-in was quick and easy and the desk clerk was super sweet. The room was clean and neat. The only problem I had with the room was the bed. It was super soft which was a nightmare on my back and every tiny movement made it sway.

As soon as I opened the door to my room, I saw the beds weren’t made & there was a hamburger ( partially eaten ), left sitting on table. I was an hour late checking in &, I had reserved the room days in advance. While the clerk was apologetic &, got me a different room- the cable/internet or whatever makes tv work- wasn’t working in the new room. First impressions are everything so, I won’t likely recommend or repeat a stay with Motel 6.
