I chose this hotel as their internet site clearly showed an optional room picture with 3 single beds which was exactly what I required. Rarely do hotels show such facilities (even if they exist). The hotel is in an older part of town but it was quiet and there are plenty of shops nearby and the surrounding street area is neat and tidy. From the Hong Kong/Macau ferry terminal it's easy to get to the hotel by taxi. Catch a taxi from the hotel to the marvelous Venetian casino complex and then walk around to the nearby casinos. Taxis are relatively cheap (but not quite as cheap as Hong Kong). At the ferry complex there are plenty of persons trying to get you to undertake a 3 hour car/SUV tour of the city. There original asking price is $1000 Macau dollars but you should be able to get one for about $750. This is a car price and not per person. These tours take you to the best sights and you get about 20 minutes at each location which is adequate. Take one of these tours if you only have limited time in Macau.
This is a nice hotel with huge room and bathroom. Hotel very clean throughout and helpful staff. Close to town centre and within walking distance to other casinos such as the Grand Lisboa. Shuttle bus from the hotel to the Macau Ferry terminal where you can get shuttle buses to other casinos such as the Venetian and Galaxy . Plenty of shops if you like shopping and lots of restaurants and food hall to choose from where you want to eat.

The hotel is quite modern with lovely rooms which are bigger than the average I have experienced in Hong Kong. The room had everything we needed including a small selection of drinks and dried noodles etc for snacks. Beware though as all these come with a cost so check the prices before using any of them.
2 nights there, bed was really awful. seems like springs in the mattress was going out of the bed. soooo hard, and painful. the rest was good. large room, aircon, fridge, tv,... bathroom with all you need.
"Great place to stay - good price, excellent hotel."
My niece and I stayed at the Metropole (Macau) for 7 nights from 06/05/'14 to 12/05/'14 inclusive. We received a very warm welcome at reception and were then shown to our room on the 6th floor. The room was beautiful - very clean and welcoming. The décor was oriental and you felt by dragging in our luggage we would somehow ruin the appearance. The room had two single beds and was quite roomy. The bathroom was spotless and heaps of toiletries were refurbished each day (much to my nieces delight). Our room was made up each day and it looked brand new all over again. Can't tell you about Wi-Fi - we went on holidays to get away from all that rubbish.
There is a café on the ground floor - try the club sandwiches - they are not only great but a full meal on their own.
On departure the Manager came out to the front of the hotel to shake our hands and wish us well for the rest of our travels. If I ever return to Macau the Metropole will be my number one choice.

"Nice and welcoming hotel, far from the attractions"
The hotel staff are nice and helpful. Although it a bit far from the major attractions but hotel staff willing to give clear direction to the attraction as well as public transports. Most probably i will recommend it to my friends.
