“Very nice Business Stay Hotel”

I stayed in the Santa Rosa Marriot Courtyard the night before and it was terrible. The staff were very friendly and the room and bed very comfortable and very close to nice restaurants.

“Winning Windsor Stay”

This Hotel was a refreshing break from the usual layout, nice courtyard entry, secure parking area, and easy access to all amenities. The morning breakfast was promptly attended to and changed day to day. The staff was friendly and attentive to all requests. TV selection could be improved, but spend your time exploring the area, not by hanging out in the room. Windsor is an interesting town, several restaurants, a nice Farmers Market can be enjoyed in the Town Center Park on the weekend. Skip the Pub, not friendly and service was focused solely on the local crowd. Try Johnny Garlic's, good food selection, good wine selection and friendly dedicated staff. Overall this is a good central location to tour the vineyards, the Red woods and the Pacific Coast. If you fly out of SF or Oakland, expect a slow drive into town.

“Great Weekend Getaway!”

Room was comfortable, well decorated, clean & inviting. Loved the little outside deck we could sit outside to enjoy watching the stars at night. The spa hot tub was clean & relaxing. Location is close to several other cities to go enjoy the day.

Area recommendations

Went to Healdsburg and enjoyed a beautiful weathered day. The town of Windsor is quaint and enjoyable to walk around to all the shops. In town restaurants are nice to enjoy too. Went to Lupe's & KC's Grill for dinner. Gellato place for dessert. Definetly recommend & hope to go back to enjoy more exploring there.Didnt' have enough time to go explore the several other quaint cities close by Windsor.

“An Impressive Place To Stay”

For a trip to wine country, you couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay at more than half the price of hotels closer in. The hotel is very comfortable, the free breakfast is attended, complete and provides for many selections of food to begin the day. Although we did not use the pool or sauna, they were both very inviting and clean. This hotel is managed very well and it shows. The help is friendly and helpful. We attended a wine country wedding and didn't mind the 15 mile drive to the middle of the Sonoma Valley because there is lots to see and the hotel's price, amenities and staff made it worth the extra miles. We would definitely stay here again and again. It was truely a home away from home.

Area recommendations

The area around the hotel is a well cared for "old town" surounded by modern commerce. We found a great florist just down the street, a wonderful restaurant around the corner and found an emergency trip to the mall in Santa Rosa very convient at just 7 miles away.

Must see

You have to get to Route 12 and travel through the vineyards. Every one has a tasting room and they are all worth visiting.

“Great Sonoma locale hotel”

Great location in Windsor, and there's a bowling alley/bar directly behind the hotel. It's in downtown Windsor, so don't expect a country inn... very convenient, clean and affordable though! Windsor is about 10 minutes from Healdsburg and centrally located to most Russian River vally wineries... a definite go back.
