“Can't wait to go back!”
Wow... Amazing surroundings, close to many attractions, a beautiful pub with carvery. Food was very good and plenty of it at a good price. Room was very clean and very comfortable, Cotton bedding and power shower were nice little extras! Loved the shower gel. Hot drink making facilities in the room, also iron and hairdryer, also WLAN connection. Would stay here over and over again, staff were really friendly too. Outside seating with great childs play area round the back, pigmy goats and alpacas surrounding this :)
“Great hotel to stop off at on way to Cornwall”
We chose this hotel for a one night stay because we didnt want to travel all the way from Cornwall to London in one go. At first we thought, because our room was at the front that we would hear the noise of the A road which runs parallel to the hotel, but double glazing meant we didnt hear a thing. We had a room which catered for disabled guests which was really roomy. Do eat at the hotel, the food is excellent and on the night we went they had a special on the cavery. Great location for attractions nearby such as Stourhead, Longleat. They even have a few animals penned at the back of the property as well as swings for children,
“very good”
very good hotel with good sized playground and goats on site. food very nice particularly the eat as much as you like carvery.
“Lovely”
Beautiful in spring.
“Just right!”
We booked this hotel as it had been recommended by a family member for its good food/accommodation and handy for visiting Longleat Safari Park. The Inn is very quaint with its exposed beams and the food is delicious. They have a great menu to choose from and a good selection for children. Our room (the Dorset Suite) was very spacious with a lovely en-suite bathroom and views over the fields. The kids loved the animals and play area and it was only a 30 min drive to Longleat. If I had to pick a hole with anything it would be the layer of dust on the tea/coffee tray and under the bed looked like it hadn't had a hoover in months but the overall stay was great and we would go back again.
“Far nicer than *** led me to expect”
An immaculate room, loads of parking, friendly staff and a good breakfast. What more could I ask?
