Nice stay again.
Old and querky hotel, very reasonable price and we have stayed here a few times. Bed was quite comfortable and the shower was excellent. A full English breakfast is an extra cost but well worth it. We also ate there on the Saturday evening, and although they were busy, they still managed to find us a table, it was very good food.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food and beer were good and the room was small but comfortable. The shower could do with a refurbishment and the lack of a table and chair was a little annoying, but overall, a nice place and good value for money.

Room old and in bad condition, bathroom dirty and tap leaking, no remote control for tv, asked for tea and toast at 8.45 am to be told “ we don’t do breakfast in the week “!!!!!!! Even though advertised as inclusive before 09.00

Nice friendly hotel spoilt by a continuous thrumming noise all the time. A little tired decorative wise, especially hall and stair carpets. Cleaning staff excellent as was the very good food. Recommended

Very nice big double room, clean and tidy, on-suite had plenty of room too. Advertised with continental breakfast, but this was not available.

Cheap but be warned that you get what you pay for.
Room was very 'tired' and could do with a thorough clean and lick of paint. Take out the rusty towel rail and sort the drains too as the bathroom did smell very bad. Linen and towels were clean and hot water plentiful. Bed comfy. First night dinner excellent. Disappointed to be told there's no food served on Sunday nights or Monday mornings. It would have been good to know this before arriving for dinner!

Look, it's a pub, no more no less but it's pretty run down and desperate for some investment even if that's just a lick of paint and some new carpets. Food was OK, staff friendly enough and I slept well but for what it is, it's over priced.

Room was smaller than previous room although i did request a certain room beforehand the toilet is too close to the sink so almost impossible to use the si k had other guests hairs in it.. The manager is very nove and friendly and staff too although the maid not so friendly or polite which put me off from going back much but its a good little pub more a country pub than a hotelbut ots ok

A building with a lot of character great open courtyard space and a lovely garden area in the sun, on a warm and sunny day this is a lovely place to have a drink and to dine.

Possibly the worst place I’ve ever bookef
We just wanted a bed for the night before RIAT, we had no high expectations. Maybe we were unlucky, we were certainly tired after a day on the road. The pub was generally unwelcoming although the staff were friendly enough and did their best. We were sent up a dirty, smelly, untidy staircase behind the bar to a tatty, smelly room. The twin beds were broken and uncomfortable and being right above the bar it was very noisy. This was a hotels.com reward night so nothing lost and with no sign of a good night’s sleep on the horizon, we arranged to stay with friends in Devizes and left. This is probably a nice pub but is in no way a hotel.
